Knott's Berry Farm was awsome. That was probably the most fun I've ever had at a theme park, or can remember [:D]. Anyways, let me get down to rating it. Once again, I'll use the asterick system. 1 * the lowest, 5 * the hightest.
Park = ****

Plus: Very good collection of coaster. Silver Bullet is very impressive, looking at it. You can basically see it from anywhere in the park. Giving you an awstruck feeling. Pretty crazy. They're coaster selections are well placed, unlike SFMM. Knott's places them where they would fit best. Silver Bullet is more themed to Fiesta Village, though, the station is located in Ghost Town. But, it looks really crazy, because, when your at the entrance to the park, the freaking Cobra Roll is right there, and it looks freaking huge. Silver bullet gives Knott's a great atmosphere. The theming is good, and so it is real clean, so another plus for Knott's. But the best part was that some of the rides are some of the best in the world. And also there's lots of shady spots.
Negatives: Gets to cramped in areas, especially the boardwalk. Everything is built real close to each other, and reminds me of kinda how I build RCT 2 parks. There weren't enough bathrooms, and drinking fountains. (I couldn't even find one, there were either to many people to see it, or it was unconvieniently placed. Also, they need more benches, because every bench we tried to sit at that was in shade was takin. SO we just had to go and sit on the curb in the shade. [:D] But the thing I hated most was the $3 for a bottle of soda. My God, did I felt ripped off, I can chug that thing down in under a minute, and they charged me three freaking dollars???? But I was thirsty, and there was a long wait for Ghost Rider at the time, so I had to buy it. Also, everything else they have is real expensive. SO there's big negatives on that, but fun makes up for what they lack in value. On the the rides!!!![launch]

The first ride we went on was call "La Revolutia" or something like that. Basically your average spinning air time thinga majigger.
Rate = **
Positives - Fun ride, I enjoyed it a lot. Lots of air time
Negatives - They don't have enough seats for bigger people. Ex. There was this tall dude, he wasn't fat, but he was really tall, like 6' 8", and so, he couldn't fit in the restraint do to his hight, and there wasn't enough bigger harnesses to accomadate him. So he had to sit out. But at least he got to wait at the exit and get the next available seat. SO I guess its ok. And they're really scrict on thier no loose articles rule, but I know a way to still get that POV you always wanted, read down below

2nd Ride - Xcelerator
Rate = ****.5
My second favorite ride behind Ghost Rider (That's why its 4.5 instead of 5) Really fun. The launch just forces the scream outa you. I assume it feals teh exact same way on TTD, only you go higher, I'm sure the launche's feel isn't that much more adrenaline rushing than this. But I think I would like Xcelerator over TTD because it has more than just an up, air time, spiral downward, break. But the air time is really awsome on this ride, even though your aren't even off of your seat cuz they staple you down so much. That's also why its a 4.5, cuz "Stapling Sux" We went on this ride 3 times, we tried for 4, but the second time we were going to go on it, it broke down.
Positives - Extremely Fun
Negatives - They staple you in!

3rd Ride - Supreme Scream
Rate - *.5
Positives - Biggest thrill of ride - going up, then the first drop
Negatives - for the most part really boring, yawn, way better at night time.

4th ride - Rip Tide
Rate - ****
Great flat ride, it was a great replacement of hammer head, basically the same idea, except way better.
Positives - Floorless tumbler thing that is built back to back (creative innovative thinking, I like that) Spins you around upside down like You've never been spun before, or maybe you have? And it squirts you with water, unless of course, you sit in the "dry seats" The "dry seats" are the 3 seats closest to each end. Making a total of 12 "dry seats" But getting wet is reccomended on hot day.
- Negatives (mostly affects guys) THey spin you around so fast, your basically humping the restraint locking plastic piece, so it kinda hurts, but the adrenaline helps takes away the pain so its still enjoyable, just not as much.

5th Ride - Ghost Rider
Rate - *****
Went on this ride 4 times, my favorite ride. Although getting really worn down, and is splintering really bad in places, and the chain sounds like it's going to break in some places, and the cars on the train that wobble back and forth, this ride is really fun.
Positives - really fun, nice air time in spots, compact layout makes for a great air time filled/twisted ride experience. Also has nice lats (what do you expect from CCI?)
Negatives - Needs major repairs on it.

6th Ride - Monnazooma's Revenge
Rate - ***
fun ride, has a loop, basically only reason why I went on it, because we didn't go on boomerang, because last time I went to knott's, I went on that about 20 times in a row.
Positives - Fun Time killer, little linage.
Negatives - nothing bad about this ride, just isn't a super fun ride.

7th Ride - Jaguar!
Rate - **.5
Another good time killer, for the most part no line. And you get a great view of Silver Bullet construction.[pshades]
Positives - has some laterals to make it a lil bit fun, and being able to look at construction of Silver Bullet was a treat.
Negatives - for the most part, its a family coaster, making it very panzy like, but still fun to ride. but nothing top notch. Trees are too close to the ride, so when you have your arms out of the car (what your not suppose to do) you get pine needles stuck in your hand, fun junk. [;)]

8th ride - Big Foot Rapids
Rate - ***
Fun stuff, I guess. The worst Intamin raft ride I have been on, but it doesn't mean it sucks. My favorite is the one at Sea World, cuz it just is so freaking crazy, then its Grizzly Rapids at DCA, then its theis one, making this my 3rd favorite Intamin Raft ride, outa 3 I've been on.[lol]
Positives - When waterfalls are on, it can deliver an extremely fun experience.
Negatives - Not very well landscaped unlike the other 2 mentioned which are extremely well landscaped. Doesn't have a surprise at every turn, and the rapids, for the most part, are pretty week, and you don't have that much gradient in the rapids.

Rides I have been on enough times to rate, but didn't go on that day

Boomerang
Rate - ***
Your basic Vokema massed producted Boomerang. Fun, to an extent.
Positives - fun to go on a couple of times
Negatives - still fun after the 100 time, yet lacking in fun once you get off the ride. Nothing special about it. Not one of the rides you should travel across the country to go on.

Perilous Plunge
Rate - ***
Gets you soaked, while sitting down, drop is pretty fun. That's about it.
Positives - Gets you cooled down on a hot day
Negatives - Not worth going on when there's a long line, just stand on the bridge and get soaked if your hot. Also not good on cold days.[;)]<img src=images/icon_speech_duh.gif border=0 width=23 height=15 alt=Insert Speech Icon: Duh!>

Overall, very fun, reccomend you travel accross country to go there when Silver Bullet opens up, I'm sure this ride will be in the top 20 steel coasters of Golden Ticket Award 2005

POVs that you can get at Knott's.
Now Knott's is extremely strict on thier "no loose articles on board" rule, but I know ways you can get around it, I will list the rides wich are possible, and tell you why.
- Silver Bullet
- Ghost Rider
- Jaguar!
- Boomerang

Why? Because they have chains, so you can keep a small digital camera in your pocket and pull it out once you leave the station. And they would never know you had it with you.
Why not Xcelerator or Monazooma's Revenge?
Mostly because there is no time available when you can pull out the camera. You might be able to get one of Monazooma's if the staff is nice, but most definately not Xcelerator, they're super strict on that rule with Xcelerator, they won't even let you hold a hat in your hand on that ride.
This ends my summary that took over an hour to write, hope you enjoy it, and sorry about not having any pictures of Silver Bullet[:(]

Cedar Fair continues its history of bad wood coaster maitenence... next we'll be hearing squealing wheels like on Mean and Blue Streak. *sigh*.

Its really a shame too, cause Ghostrider is an awesome woody, and everytime I go to Knotts it seems to be worse.

yeah ghostrider is really roughed up now, it slams you around unlike when it first opened. I don't recommend an onride of ghostrider, I tried getting one and on the lift they have cameras and on the "mcb" they got more, they stopped the train on the mcb and took my cam off, which was return at the end of the ride :Excellent review, good detail and I plan my trip there in a few weeks or so.

LOL. They actually go to all that trouble? I dont see what they should care anyways, it just gives them more publicity if people take POV's and post them for others to see. It seems like they'd almost encourage it. [:D]

if the camera flies out of your hands and konks someone on the forehead at 40 mph, Knott's and the responsible rider would surely be sued and fined for alot of money, and the park would lose alot of guests if the loser that got hit runs to the media and whines. Needless to say, they don't want that happening. And could you imagine if something like that happened on Top Thrill Dragster? Someone would come back decapitated.

Yup, it was as smooth as silk when it first open, as I recall, and way more air time. The splintered track, I think ruins some of that air time, so instead of getting ejector air, you just get floater air.

Well, I guess I can't argue with that, but then again, the people could always just duck out of the way of the flying camera.[:p] What they should really do is just do what Holiday World did, post onrides on their homesite so getting POV's would be unneccessary, then everyone's happy. Maybe thats too costly or something thoguh, I'm sure they have their reasons.[:D]

if knott's was smart they would do that, I'll email Guest Relations again, they respond very promptly, which is amazing.
