I agree with you both. Vekoma SLC's have more of a drop than Silver Bullet lol
you can especially see it here:http://www.rcdb.com/installationgallery2536.htm?Picture=30

Well, Jaguar was in the way, so it couldn't be very steep.
I think it will still be somewhat intense though, because it curves very quickly.

It curves a lot slower than other B&M drops. The beginning of the drop doesn't have the "snap" to it like other B&M inverts.

Yeah, but then again, there is a little straight track that slopes down after the dip, to the drop is entered at higher speed.
i guess we won't know until we ride it, but the gradual descent actually looks kinda fun to be (even if it's forceless).

Going to Knott's today to get a picture of that beautiful Cobra Roll. Looking pretty good, except parts of the ride looks like it could use a new paint job. It looks like its starting to rust in places.

The cobra roll looks good, except for a weird support that makes the whole thing look odd.

I love that cobra roll, it is now my desktop wallpaper, the ride looks great except the drop doesn't seem like much, it's just a shorter version of montu's drop. i love the way knotts looks, its just beautiful, they manage to take rollercoaster like montezooma and boomerang and make them look like a world class ride just by painting it. knotts truly is a burst of color, the have some of the most beautiful color schemes and scenery i've ever seen.

yeah..but I have a feeling those arn't the actual brakes because those don't even look like they can move at all.

Those are magnetic brakes. They will help to slow the train down before they hit the actual brakes. Less wear and tear on the brakes

What about the row of things on the track behind that one in the foreground?

Those are the actual brakes that will stop the train. They look weird from the angle of the picture.

looking good, I am thinking of hitting the park for some footage and maybe pictures one of these days. I see a couple people that are close to it, what about a meet up?

maybe opening day of Silver Bullet. That's the next time I'm going. But just the installation of SB makes the park even more beautiful. And it looks so big. And it gives Jaguar! more of a thrill, cuz there's something to look at.

yea...it makes a great desktop wallpaper...You'll notice a few things with that monkey if you look closely...but I'd rather not say one of them...the other thing is that the monkey appears to be flipping off whoever's below the cobra roll. (look at one of his hands)

[lol] you're on the right track but try the other end..[xx(].

Let's just say me and one of my friends positioned a section of 'SFMW Monkies' like that on a display shelf...it was pretty funny seeing a group of monkies doing that.
