I thought it was just Ragan who made it to round two, but luckily I managed. I saw the template for Round two this morning and thought to myself "Sh*t...that's really small." but luckily it was a woodie, and I was wrong, it's huge! So I was happy and immedietly began building, but I noticed that the coaster had to have a sort of CCI layout, so I got worried and looked up pics and stole some ideas. The only thing I think is not normal is the first drop, which is a S-Twist. The pre-lift area is also full of lats and airtime and a few good head-choppers, but I think the open area feels great as well. I'm planning on optimizing the woodmagic supports and re-doing a lot of them to look more realistic from the pics I've seen, but in the mean time, enjoy these!

I'm having issues returning to the station, and then even though I'm done, I'm going to perfect this until the due date!

Enjoy![dorkhat]

I don't know if you want comments or not ... but as a wood designer you have an ton of "empty space" here that could be taken up by wood track.

It obviously sits in the template fine (of course), but you have lots of room to wrap around, under, and back again here.

Just a thought in trying to help you kick some virtual butt. [;)]

That's the returning to the station issue. Lol! I made an awesome and still fast paced wrap around on just that area, but when I made the track try to return up the station, it almost made it, but rolled back. Since only one lift can be used...I'm stuck. I'm thinking of lowering the station, but then the beginning won't be as fun as it used to, but will still have airtime and lats to keep up the fun.

Still, if it comes to leaving those areas open, the middle is still ultra close and full of surprises. I really want it to go out and back, but the speed doesn't let me push the coaster that far.

The coaster isn't finished, the track in that pic ends right after the brake run. See ya![dorkhat]

New updates. I managed to make it back to the station after some re-adjustments to the whole track. I raised the first drop to 160 and the pre-drop to 175. it went a lot faster and made it to the station without me having to cut the ride short. I'm planning to make some terrain changes, but not until I finish smoothing. Right now, I'm going through the track deleting useless vertices, which also helped me add some excitement and lats. I re-shaped a lot of drops and lowered them for a lot of Floater Air. I hope the end result comes out good!

If this is my result for this template...then I can't wait to see some of the better designer's rides!! And I'm probably going to have to rework a lot of supports to make this. See ya! [dorkhat]

There is alot of extra room.... either make the track more linear and have the tracks parallel to eachother, choose a wider support system (makes the track feel "bulkier") or rework the track completely. Hope that helps a bit. Otherwise looking decent.
