Thats because currently there are only two tools that are out for macs,
the calculator: http://www.coastersims.com/tia/software/nolimits_coastercalculator/index.cfm
the track packager extractor: http://www.InterFix.net/macnlpackextractor/

Hopefully the rest are in the works, cause us mac users have a bit of a disavantage [:(!]

People used to do it by hand...Not that its any easier, its certainly not, but the Track Auto Flanger is NOT perfect and when people use it, if the errors arent corrected I take off points instead of add.

Any feature thats auto, and saves you oodles of time should be scrutinized. Why? Because if you made it yourself you wouldnt make the mistakes that it makes (like flanges intersecting each other and other tubes)

Keep in my mind that while mac users cant use the auto flanger, smoother, and others, you also are using a much better editor than us, as your editor is essentially the 1.5 update's editor style. Also, the tools for NL are by no means essential to building great coasters, and as far as i know the best designers dont use the tools for the most part.

I agree e-man, but trust me the mac update we have isnt that special, we have a vertex panel, verses it being on the main panel. Not much different, anyway this will be over when 1.5 comes out.

2 things:

1) Here's a handy URL of all the Mac NL utils to date: http://www.InterFix.net/nolimits/

2) The mac editor also has a nice terraformer built in, which is less powerful, but easier to use than Tia's, IMO.

But tia's terraformer isn't hard to use at all. Hmm... I want to see it...
