They found out that remodeling all of the rides got to be just a bit much for the team and would have required alot more work, thus pushing the date back even further.

I think what we are getting is nothing to complain over.

DAM, you beat me too it, [lol]. Ok the end of September is VERY close I mean we are already half way through. What pisses me off is the fact that once again, Mac users are going to recieve it TWO weeks later than the official release. Thats Bull****. Ole said it would be released at the SAME time, what a let down....

wow.
It has everything I was expecting from this thing except for one thing, you still can't have multi-colored supports. [:(]

I hear that too, the LIMs are completely unrealistic, and I think the steelies could use better sounds, too.

since animated things on the track are possible, the track itsself should also be able to be animated. I think the next update should include tilt coasters. Here's how it would work. Under segment transform, there would be an option for "tilting segment" to apply to the selected track piece's. Bringing up the options for this track piece would allow you to change the degrees of rotation, speed of rotation, holding brake time, etc. I really want to see this in nl 1.6

Coastercount: 1410 (I've seen the world and it's horrid contraptions... @.@)

Maybe a thrill lift looks cool, but I don't get the point of it.

IMO, I think it looks very unrealistic, Then again, That is what we all thought when they anounced the "Tilt Coaster"! so. i don' think that will ever be in NL! and if it is, it would make NL 1 notch donw in the unrealistic catagory!

How can it make it 1 notch down? Obviously vekoma has a prototype, or they can safely and effectivly build it, so hows it unrealistic?

Unrealistic would be like a inverted stand up coaster or something really stupid like that.

wat new ones? I didn't hear anthing about new LIM sounds. LIMs are really quiet and, just the way they're in NL, its just, doesn't sound realistic.
yeah, if vokema can build it, its most definately not realistic. Want to know the defination of realistic? Something stupid that can not be done with all the technology and money in the world. If it can be designed well, and thought of, *and its nots stupid* it can be done. People need to use they're brains more and go for the *unrealistic* to get the original great idea. But of coarse, you have to do it in a way that's realistic.

1.6?The next would probably be NL2.0. BTW, the animated track shouldn't be controlled, but set based on the track type and calculating the supports to create the neccesary data. Too much control means too much time spent on that. Both for the users and the dev team.

They say that there will be some new features here and there, so they should be adding individual support colors, otherwise, it's time for SM.

Things I don't like:

Improved coaster style "Corkscrew"
Improved coaster style "Inverted 2 seat"
Improved coaster style "Hyper coaster"

Ole said: "We now are remodelling all of the steel coaster cars. Yes, all of them."

"improved coaster style" probably just means added features to them. (better be!)

Too bad there are no new sounds

Yeah, a lot of their sounds SUCK. Their brake sounds are good, and so are the lift sounds for the woodies, but both wood and steel have train running sounds that SUCK except for the air effect, which was pretty nice, but the train running never matched anything. A great excample is the B&M one.

And the steel lifts are even WORSE!!!!!

Oh well, at least they are making the free update in the first place, so I'll just wait and see. But I'd hate to see some cars super high detailed, and others seeming to have no more that 100 polys, lol. But still, if would be very unbalanced that way.
