The Dev team set high goals...and you guys critisize them for it? How many times must it be said, they arent all getting paid to do this, some of them do it for free, on their own free time. The amount of detail put into these trains is amazing and Oles probably coding his butt off still.

Honestly, they wanted to do all of the models, mostly because the woodies were so much nicer it made the rest look like crap. And Im sure that was their main reason, to make them all look equal but that would have taken FAR longer than any of you would have waited.

I guess he opted to give the mob what they wanted and take that verbal abuse over pushing the date back another 3 months and taking another 3 months verbal abuse over "whens it coming out"

I'd wait 2 months, since RCT3 also comes out that time too. But I should have higher standards for RCT3, since I'm paying $$$ for that. Sorry, but I was only trying to express my opinion about that rant since the SE's could've been better. Oh well, then I guess.

well, I can't wait to see this patch, but after this one, I'm gonna write an extremely detailed letter to the team on updates they should have in NL 2, that way they can get a start on it, and use any suggestions I have. [;)] But, for some reason, this Patch seems like a teaser as of whats to come in NL 2. Like this is more than just NL update 1.5, But then again, it kinda is NL 1.5 becuase, I think its gonna be a mix of the 2.

The dev team does have what they call "The LisT" which has like, every train and track style in the world, no joke, not every, but I believe last count was like 30 or 40 styles? Everything they need to do is there...in real life and I dont think youll list anything they already dont have or dont want to put into the game. When you see the Intamin trains youll see the kind of detail they want. Its mind blowing.

By all means you can, but from what Ive heard and read of what they call "The List" (I forget where its at and dont want to hunt it down) its gigantic. This pretty much is a teaser as far as im concerned.

well, my ideas don't include any tracks, except the ones I would like to see put in the game first (Intamin Looper) and things to add more realism (like reflections on the car)[:P]. Like the connector and flanges, and multi colored supports.

I think NL2 is gonna be great, but I think they really have to spend time on it, because they don't make an update, but a whole new game!!

Those are on the list and the new Intamin track I believe features the connectors. Also in 1.5 the G's will no longer be read at the rails, but the G's will be read at the heartline like real coasters.

Now if only they would get rid of the crappy friction-based speed modulator...

RCT3 detailed reflections and textures would be awesome too!

BTW, I forgot this.

Feature list Update 1.5 (possibly incomplete):

Straight from the site, with emphasis on the "possibly incomplete" part.

I agree cool. I think v1.5 is going to be enough to satisfy us all for quite sometime ...

I hate to once again complain but since im entitled to my opinion wether you like it or not i will go ahead.

First off, to me this update just screams Scream Machines all over. There wasnt one feature on the list (waits for some smartass to show me wrong) that isnt already in Scream Machines, but yet since its being released for NL everyone is having orgasms about it? What is wrong with you people. Your like a hyper active kids with a secret supply or pixie sticks [lol] The update i admit looks good, but then again i dont actualy see what is so great about it...

OK Edge ... first off I ain't been THAT excited over something I've seen on the computer in about 10 years. But for NL this is actually a step towards SOME progress. I mean, "we" have been hanging onto this crap (1.3) for some time now and previous versions sucked even more ... so, getting a little happy over some sort of improvement ain't that surprising.

I sense anger, cool down guys. My thoughts are that the update looks aswome and it is coming out real soon. However too much cannot be added between now and the end of september, so that "uncompleted" part of the update doesnt mean that there will be 5 new track types.

Nope Brtn ... none at all ... a touch of sarcasm maybe, but not one bit of anger.

Versions sucked before it? compared to what may I add? lol Considering theres only really 2 guys out there making simluations of coasters, and only within the last 4 years, Id say what we have doesnt really suck since well, the only thing to compare it too are Hyper Rails, RCT (well not really but still) and the other sick attempts at "coaster building" games.

Sure they will suck compared to real life...but its all we got. And it isnt quite bad either.

the version didn't sucked before, when nl was out was everyone exited and happy, everyone has happy about the woody update. And now that there will come a huge update people call the other sucks! NO it isn't! Well i can't wait to get some nice thrilling shuttles together... [:D]

Yeah, ok, lemme clarify. Compared to what we had out there, previous versions ruled. However, what it could have been ... is what sucked. Like, it came up short was all I was saying. BUT ... allow me to retract my "suck" statement here so Real and Dirk will not be forced to give me an enema ... lol ... it's all good fellas. Personally, I am hoping the new release is a 100 times improvement over things that we all commonly complain about now.

Their brake sounds are ok, but I guess it could use new ones though. But it's more important to fix up the messed up sounds for the steel lift and for BOTH the wooden and steel coaster of the train running

And the wind is pretty good. It sounds exactly like that on a real ride, that that's all you hear. If you don't like it, switch to rail view or fly-by view.

and the other sick attempts at "coaster building" games.

Haha, like simcoaster and that retarded kind of crap.

Thank you Edge ... better yet ... can I recommend a word filter? Would that be out of the question? I mean, cursing is a right, I guess, but for those that cannot seem to control their cake-holes perhaps it might not be a bad thing? (Just a thought.)

Anyway, yeah, some of the brake sounds seem very forced or fabricated where perhaps more of a clicking sound to go along with the brakes might not be a bad thing. While they are at it, anti-rollback options (clicking sounds included) would be nice rather than having to craft a piece of wood/steel on the ties to look like anti-rollback mechanisms.

and what also is, if you take lim on a transport on a woodie, it's just nothing, if they could disable that option on woodies or just make some (un)realistic lims for on the woodie track.[:D] Could be nice [:)]
