Only one problem... The template is nowhere near big enough to recreate it.

Hey Tie ... why not try to design it yourself? The only way to really get good is by practice, and that confidence you gain from designing. Come on man, you can do it! All it takes is practice bud.
Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all.

its true, if made something almost the same size as ST, except it had one less major hill, and it was all the way at the end of the template. I think I still have it, its like ST, if its alright with IF, I'll send it to you.

Technically you can make a recreation of ST, you put the track diagnoly across the the template. Mind you that this takes alot of skill to make a coaster like that. But i say do it. Try it out Tiepilot, if you find that is hard make the entire coaster, insted of having it at 100% make it at, i dunno, 85%.

Hope this helps,

For me, a diaganal coaster across a template is next to impossible. All the hills won't be straight, etc. Which is why NL needs more side views or a free camera side view. In fact, it's probably better to just make all views 3d. It would be abit like a fly view, but more of a 3d overhead view.

Completely False. EVer think of building stuff as elements in the side views, then importing them into a track thats rotated?

Im trying to do a Shivering Timbers at the moment...First problem Ive run into is I have the 125ft hill with the120ft drop at the correct angle and a 7mph lift and Im still like 6mph off the speed. Yet, it carries almost more speed over the hills...its crazy. I have almost to the helix and I may be able to fit it, but my senses are telling me the plot, even diagonally isnt large enough still.

I just rode it for the first time (and got 10 rides in on it) Saturday and its my #1 coaster...wood or steel. Its just a BEAST with rediculous amounts of airtime.

I agree, building on a diagonal is a pain in the ass, but its no where near impossible. All it takes is a bit more time adjusting the vertices.

Well, you can make hills be you must use top view to edit then and 3d view to check the shape.
I guess NL 1.5 gives the option to enter the cordinates of the node. so it doesn't has to be difficult to put a hill diagonal or any other direction...
Coastercount: 1410 (I've seen the world and it's horrid contraptions... @.@)
