With all the discussion about tools lately, I wanted to see if I could build a track with only elementary, construction kit, and AHG. Well...it didn't turn out as good as I would have liked, and I did end up doing a couple of small things by hand. This coaster, when I finally get around to putting some supports on it, should be a good example that will show how tools won't automatically make a perfect track. Not that it's a bad coaster...it's actually pretty good, but I think I've made better tracks by hand. I enjoy working with tools a lot more though, rather than moving all of the nodes around by hand for hours, days, weeks, etc. It makes me feel like i'm being more productive, even though the end result didn't turn out quite like I planned. [:p]
Anyway, I'm not wanting to start yet another debate about tools. Just wanted to share my experience with everybody. Here's a pic:
