Did anyone see the Monaco grand prix last sunday?
The redbull team made a deal with Lucasfilm and made there whole car with StarWars stickers, and the best of them all, a stormtrooper pitcrew!!

If you know what i'm talking about...do you know where i can find some pics of the stormtrooper pitcrew. If you provide me with a correct link with some decent size pic i'll donate 100p to your account!

Couldnt miss this race! I love the monaco track :) This was probably the most dramatic ending to any race this season! Very tense! Glad Raikanon won though :D

There wasn't enough crashes for me on Sunday, I like F1 don't get me wrong, but you know its much better when theres a couple of major crashes.

The redbull team didn't have much luck though did they? Both cars retired from the race, I bet thats the last time they have anything to do with star wars [;)] lol.

Monaco is my favourite track because it usually has the most crashes [:)] but I love the on board camera shots around Monaco, where the walls are just flying past like an inch away from the car at most corners, going at like 200mph, its just wickedy bo. Still though, woulda been better with a couple more crashes [:)]

How thrilling do you reckon it is to drive an F1 car around a circuit like Monaco? I'm sure its more thrilling than any coaster is. I mean for a start, everytime they accelerate, they accelerate faster than Kingda ka, so going away from every corner would be like another launch on Kingda ka. They experience anyhting up to 4 sustained g's around some of the croners, which would just be insane. The barriers at Monaco are so close together that there is no room for error, espcially on corners where the aim is to try and get as close to the inside of the corner as possible. I'd love to be strapped into an F1 car somehow and be driven round Monaco at top speed, I'd pay loads of money to do that.

P.S, Hyyyper, I seriously doubt Edges need for points, checked his profile lately? I don't think he'll be running out any time soon [lol]

gouldy, i made a promise, so it did transfer the points, just because i promised it. And i think driver a F1 car is more frustrating than thrilling, keeping that thing in one piece 78 laps?
and did you heard our dutch driver, he was 5 laps behind, be he at leas finished the race

Monaco is a great track to race, horrible to watch unless you love single file racing. Theres very few actual overtaking spots on the track due to the ridiculous type nature of the track.

I like Imola and Australia better with the one Euroring in there too, lots of great racing.

Plus the only crashes in Monaco, barring any of them out of the tunnel are LOW speed, not very impressive. If there is one at the chicane out of the tunnel, thats usually pretty good.

I usualy only watch the start of Grand Prixs, this is usualy when you get the most awesome pile ups. I cant express how freaking awesome it is to see about 20 cars smash the crap out of each other, millions of $$$ lost in a second. I freaking love it

Crashes only last a few seconds, a race lasts a few hours. I couldnt imagine just watching for the crashes...unless I was at a destruction derby. I like to see people do what they were meant to do in racing, whatever that may be.

you want some spectacular crashes? Watch rally racing ;)

I prefer to watch NASCAR if I'm watching just for the crashes, cus theres always some pretty major poop happening in NASCAR [lol]. I love watching rally aswell, the British rally is amazing I think, I love some of the tracks in Scotland, some well major crashes happen there.

I think the correct word you are looking for is scary. [lol]
I love cars and car racing, especially F1, but I could never see myself going around that circuit in an F1 car at full speed, or even under full speed. I would definatly need a diaper...

Im with Gouldy. Monaco is usally better cos of the big crashes. Mind u, That bit where Fisichella lost 5 places in 2 corners was the best bit of non-crash f1 racing ive ever seen.
