What do you find so bad about Togo? Have you ever been on one?

I dont like it when people tear apart rides either. Mantis looks like a wicked ride and people says it sucks. It looks smooth. I would ride almost every possible coaster i could if that were to happen which i dont think it will.

lies, all lies. If I felt like searching, I can show you a bunch of times you degraded rides before riding it, ex. Flash Back @SFMM Anyways, No designer sucks. Mostly because if they did, they wouldn't have a ride built any where. [;)] And as Real said, why degrade a ride, its there for you enjoyment. If you're gonna hate it, then that's your problem, you don't need to tell everybody why you hate it.

And why would a supposed coaster enthusiast bash the thing that they are supposed to be fans of. Its not like you see fans of hockey or basketball saying their sports sucks, but hey, lets cheer anyways! ahah

Note: NONE of Traver's coasters exist.

For an example of Togo at their best, go download the Manhattan Express video from the site run by Elissa White.

i have been on two togo rides: manhatan express and shockwave at pkd (the standup is shockwave right?..wow, i feel stupid now lol) and by far, they are the worst rides i have ever been on! shockwave hurt like hell and manhattan express had exremely hard transitions and was very slow. it was one of the most boring coasters i've been on and it was also definatly the most uncomfy togo is by far the worst designer ever! if you need further proof, just resarch windjammer at knott's

and although vekoma rides are very bumpty, i dont think they're anywhere near the worst. they have good, action packed designs. their only problem is the bumpy-ness on most of their rides. but still, the bumpyness of a togo is far worse than of a vekoma.

You're right about good'ol WindSLAMMER([lol])! I mean, in the slightest of breezes, a train(wait, no-torture device has got a better ring to it!), once it goes up a hill, or a turnaround, IIRC, that breeze forces that train into a dead stop during the ride! Disgusting! It had to go! Hope TOGO burns where the sun don't shine![devilish]

As for Vekoma? Well, at least the Dutch keep trying...

"Wind-Slammer" didn't do much slamming when I rode it. It actually ran nice and smooth and at a decent pace...probably because the ride was new when I rode it (a couple months of being open). Meanwhile, "Manhurtin' Express" looks somewhat painful after watching TRP's painful ride video of the man-hurting express ride

well, I'm gonna have to say Togo because they couldn't design Wind Jammer right, when you have a ride that brakes down constantly, and you spent over a million to fix, and it still won't work properly, then you know you have a bad designer, but there tracks aren't bad.

Here is an official record of the commentary on the video of Manhattan Express. It contains explicit language as a reaction caused by the roughness and overall suckiness of the ride.

"Oh, this looks exciting. (screams as train goes down first drop). OW! s*&@! Jesus f*&@ing christ, that hurt! Oh, s*&@! Oh, f*&@ing s*&@, I just bashed my jaw! Oh, damn this b*&%@in ride. Oh, my god, the f*&@ing Japanese suck. Oh, Jesus Christ! OW! oh, *bleep* *bleep* s*&@! s*&@! OW! Woah! Why the f*&@ didn't they smooth this part of the ride? Oh, s*&@! oh, god damn it. (midcourse brake run). Oh... Jesus Christ. They should pay me $12.50 to go on this f*&@ing thing. Oh, holy *bleep* cheap s*&@ f*&@ing monkey bastards! s*&@! Well, that was uninteresting. Ow! Ow! Son of a b*&%@! Christ! Ow! s*&@, man! Why? S*&@! Frank, you can not get the credit this bad! OW! Son of a! Ow, Jesus! Ow, Christ! Oh, my God! (ride ends). Oh, s*&@ that sucked! That was worse than Windjammer. How was it? That was worse than Windjammer!"

As a responsible adult, I was very disturbed by this hilarious video... [;)]

to check it out for yourself, here is the download link.

uh, yeah, I think that TOGO is rock bottom. I love everything made by CCI, Intamin, S&S, and GCII though.

2 people have died of aneurysms or however you spell it om Manhattan Express, its gotta go, it should be replace with an intamin hyper looping, that would be awesome!
That ride looks horrible, i can just imagine it, that guy must be black and blue from riding it.

^that has nothing to do with the track/roller coaster. People with aneurysms shouldn't be riding roller coasters.
Thats just as stupid as a pregnant women playing football. (not soccer for you europeans ;) )

lol, the video brings back memories of when i actually was stupid enough to get on another togo.

.... i found it truly amazing that togo even managed to make the straight parts of the track bumpy.

well, e-man, yer right psclone looks way better in pictures than it really is, that's because the pictures show what it once was and could be. i went when it opened, and if the ran it like it was supposed to it would be as good as ghost rider. that ride was good, key word, was... the company that made those trains had no buisiness manufacturing something they do not understand, as evidenced by the fact that those are the only wood trains they ever built. it has been said that these trains are what could have ruined it. tch tch.... again i'll reinstate that the line for psyclone is much shorter now, when it's open.... but not solely because deja vu is right next to it, but because magic mountains way of fixing a ride is breaking the heck out of it. the less people riding psyclone means the less they have to worry about maintenance, i say they coulda had ptc make wonderful trains for this ride for a fraction of the cost that a piece of crap 20 second collection of steel pipes called deja vu, fun, yes worth a wait hell no. the best thing is though that for me it means as many as 10 rides in succesion on psyclone while my less tasteful freinds ride 20 seconds worth of deja crap......haw haw, lets hope knott's doesn't ruin ghostrider to get more people to ride silver bullet......sorry i'm so cynical, but i don't trust park chains they really don't care if you enjoy yourself or not, you've paid and they won't have to give your money back.......so one is stuck waiting 45 minutes for superman or something equally as lame. my truck goes 100 miles an hour, but it turns too.........

2 People have died on the Raptor at CP from medical related injuries as well...those are the parks fault and somehow I dont think that one specific ride always brings it out in people.

So how can you be the worst? You have to have created one to be the worst at creating them, you never know, maybe you would be the best at designing real coasters [confused]........I doubt it, but u see where i'm coming from. Anyway, I reckon Togo....pure crapness in my view [lol]
