Heyho!

I thought about recreating Thunder Dolphin including the whole scenery and linear gale and stuff. I'm not sure if I should do it.
just leave your opinion in this topic.

also VERY IMPORANT!

if you have any useful things like screenshots, links with information or pictures, kind of trackplan with the sizes and stuff please also leave it in this topic.
it would help to make it as accurate as I can.

I'm going to need help with some part like the Big O. maybe some like binomaus can help at this point

so I hope there'll be a lot of comments and useful stuff.[:)]

so tell me what you think!

I hope you do, it would be a massive project to take on, but with patience, it could be really great.

Hyyyper, the big O is the Ferris wheel type thing that the Thunder Dolphin travels through the middle of, at part of the ride:

yeah of course it would be a really, really big project.
and I would need a lot of information from you guys outthere.

and maybe someone who is good in making 3ds because the big O would be a bit too hard to create for me.
and I would only make the triangle with thunder dolphin in it.

so please some more opinions and maybe some infos...track data sizes of the triangle if anyone can find.

ahh, I see, thats actually quite obvious now [lol] sorry for the mistake.

Ish, I know where you can find an onride video of the Thunder Dolphin if you need help with the layout at all. Along with a video of the whole of LaQua, so you can see some of the smaller deatils and so on.

themeparkreview.com?
I have that vid and I know the layout but I need more information about the heigh because I don't know how tall the overbank is, just for example. and basicly thunder dolphin is build on a triangle, right?
it would help enormous if someone can find the sizes of it.

because with what I have right now I can't make much.

Maybe sendign a mail to the park, manufacturer or designer? Maybe they can give you something. I kind of doubt it, but some parks are very kind with this.

Good luck. This is a big prodject, and it would be great if you completed it!

You wont get blueprints or layouts from either. At least Intamin. Its copyrighted material just like everything else they do. Youd need some good satellite imagery or just some good eyes to determine the path, which for this ride isnt hard.

well I now build a megacoaster that is pretty much inspired by Thunder Dolphin.
basicly it's the same idea. I'm still going to build it like the area of thunder dolphin.

the first screens are completelyy without banking.

http://nldc.interfix.net/p614

afterwards i'll throw it through the AHG.

so I hope you're still interested and still tell me what you think about it and what I can make better.
