Why hasn't anything updates about the process of mac's update been posted, they should know how much longer they have to wait.

Thank you for someone else standing up. I am still waiting but its worth the wait, I just wish that maybe after they past there estimated releasal date of 2 weeks that they could of told us how much longer it would be. Luckily I know that beta testing has begun about a week ago and that there werent many major issues. However its a bit frustrating. Oh well.........

there two different complete systems that have to be programed differently. Windowns is the most popular system, so it gets done first im guessing

I think it get's done first because the team uses windows and does all the work there, then they code it on their macs for the mac version.

considering over 90% of the computers in the world arent macs, you figure it out.

ya it makes sense, but thats because for the most part window are significantly cheaper. Its difficult to find a mac thats under $1000 while you can find a moderate pc for $500-600. Its because there cheaper really, but I think that macs are catching up to the race [:p]

I agree. I work with macs at my school. and I hate it. And now your beginning to get all the viruses and bugs that we have in windows, so i don't realy see the great thing about mac.

after my argument. if you copy something to the desktop, is it really copied, or just shortcutted? lol. Also, how do you go about upgrading a mac, tossing it out and buying a new one. Not to mention how much worse the mice are for the mac, and dinky the game/program selection is. now we're back on topic

I agree w/ Brtnboarder495, that we should stay on topic. Let's close this "platform war" up by saying that it's unfair that mac gets 1.5 late. (Later than schedule, I think.)

No we shouldnt be used to it, it isnt fair, but I am not angry about it. At this point I am getting a bit flustered because it is nearly a week after the expected due date of the mac 1.5. I guess I have learned to DOUBLE Ole's estimates[:(]

If it's that bad then why keep the mac? Alot of games are more Windows used then Mac, and well, Windows is king

^ or you could possibly use your cd key that you have for your mac and just get an .exe file from some one.

It is fair, as Ole is trying to make money off of this, so therefore, he has to develop a game for the largest computer audiance possible.
