For custom inversions, I don't know. But if go go to File, Insert Element, there will be some inversions that come with the game.

To do it custom you can make a Z like shape with the track, you really only need to use 3 vertix's but some people use more. Then you highlight the section in the piece, switch to side viewand then raise the vertex, then add a 180 roll and with a bit of tweaking, bang. Otherwise ust do it as above

You can go to www.coastercandy.com as well and download elements others have shared, just make sure to give credit where it is due when you post a track somewhere. To insert, click on the last vertice (blue dot) you have created, then click on File -> Insert Element in the editor. Select the element you want, adjust the size, etc, and click "ok". However, making your own is much more desired as it gives you practice as well on making elements! :-)

First you need to be sure you own the licensed copy. Then, I would begin with downloading other coasters and take a look at them in the editor. This may help you get a feel for "how to" design. Of course, you can always go to "help" in the editor (top toolbar) and get some tips etc. This is how I learned, and am still learning ... but the #1 way is to practice from what you pick up from others.

IMPORTANT SAFETY TIP: Do not try to post a track that is not yours ... it will immediately get discovered and you will be beaten about the head and ears ... violently!

Being a dork will get you no where clown-boy. Grrrrr
The Edge explained it perfectly about 7 posts above this one. Learn the basics first though ... and then start making elements.

Do you know how to bend the track or anything? make bunny hills, lift hills, drops, ect...? If not, then first learn the basics otherwise, it's just like making anything other. If I made an element I thought was smooth, I'd save it for future use. You should do the same. As for actually saying how to do it, it's rather hard to explain. Just look at other elements and insert them and then try to mimic it. That's my best advice.

you can use the REL option if your track makes wierd twists, it's makes the node exactly on the same roll as the last node. For loops, go to top view, make a Z with nodes select the midde node and raise it in one of the side views. It's actually very easy. Also if you want to learn how to bend your track read first the manual, then it's not so difficult anymore! Also don't yell at us, because of that you have now allreqady a bad reputation on the site. Were not a help desk, we are just members of a fan site. We help you if we want, and if your acting like stupid and yell at us. We maybe don't even want to help you anymore! So please be nice and don't use us as a help desk, i've helped you a bit. but we can't help you more then done now allready....

Hmm, all you members here might want to know what's going on. I'm going to put the most important part of the conversation below (some words censored). Also, I took out a lot of it (some parts not marked by ...) because this was much longer at first.

...
RapidRoller11: do you try to keep your gs under red?
evildemon4384: o know i dont care about the physics
RapidRoller11: you'll want to watch that
RapidRoller11: those things mean "If it's red, you will usually DIE or black out on this ride"
evildemon4384: well after i know how to do everything im gonna watch out for that
evildemon4384: right now im trying to make one of my pathetic excuses that some people call a "rollercoaster"
RapidRoller11: yeah
RapidRoller11: i know
RapidRoller11: first things first
RapidRoller11: the lift :-)
RapidRoller11: do they look really curved
... (the next day)
evildemon4384: element???
RapidRoller11: ?
RapidRoller11: what about them
evildemon4384: how do i make one
evildemon4384: how did u learn
RapidRoller11: first, try to make a lift and drop only with NO red gs
RapidRoller11: and the lift has to be straight
RapidRoller11: by practicing
... (some stuff with him asking how high)
evildemon4384: xm ym or zm
RapidRoller11: y
RapidRoller11: and 30 m
evildemon4384: theres ym xm zm
RapidRoller11: yes
RapidRoller11: y
evildemon4384: k
evildemon4384: do u want the drop or the lift to me straight
RapidRoller11: lift
RapidRoller11: curved drop
RapidRoller11: straight lift
RapidRoller11: lift should have 3 segnments
RapidRoller11: one to curve it up
RapidRoller11: one long stright one
RapidRoller11: (most of the lift)
RapidRoller11: then one piece to curve out
RapidRoller11: then one more node or maybe a few for the drop
evildemon4384: wtf i did a straight lif wut do u want me to do
RapidRoller11: ?
RapidRoller11: wait
RapidRoller11: k
RapidRoller11: wait
RapidRoller11: by straight lift
RapidRoller11: do you mean
RapidRoller11: one click
RapidRoller11: move it up
RapidRoller11: click segment
RapidRoller11: right-click
RapidRoller11: straight?
RapidRoller11: or no
evildemon4384: i made it straight up so wut do u want me to do next
RapidRoller11: no
RapidRoller11: i dont mean that
RapidRoller11: straight means not bendy and curvy
RapidRoller11: like
RapidRoller11: /
evildemon4384: o well i did that
RapidRoller11: how many nodes does ur lift have?
evildemon4384: u know wut nodes are right?
RapidRoller11: yeah...
RapidRoller11: how many does urs have
RapidRoller11: those r supports
RapidRoller11: :-/
evildemon4384: no red dots without brown lines
evildemon4384: ok
RapidRoller11: ur making supports
RapidRoller11: lol
RapidRoller11: ok
RapidRoller11: time to start all this over :-)
evildemon4384: no
RapidRoller11: damn
evildemon4384: just listen to me
RapidRoller11: what
evildemon4384: go to no limits editer
RapidRoller11: ...
RapidRoller11: tell me
RapidRoller11: how ru adding segments
evildemon4384: u there
RapidRoller11: yeah
RapidRoller11: ru on dialup or something?
evildemon4384: k u know where the open file is
RapidRoller11: yeah..
RapidRoller11: under that is the supports panel
RapidRoller11: unless u moved stuff around
evildemon4384: right below it hold ur cursor over it and then read it
RapidRoller11: yeah
RapidRoller11: oh wait
RapidRoller11: what did u mean by LINES
evildemon4384: huh? i said lines?
evildemon4384: no
RapidRoller11: wait
RapidRoller11: do u have 3 lines that r parallel and then lines crossing through that?
evildemon4384: one shape is a T with a red dot where the T lines meet.
RapidRoller11: lo
RapidRoller11: that's a support
RapidRoller11: in the icon thingy
RapidRoller11: the blue represents track
evildemon4384: no supports are under the icon that starts the simulator
RapidRoller11: the dot represents a SUPPORT node
RapidRoller11: and the white line is the support
evildemon4384: u know the icon next to it on the left
RapidRoller11: yeah
RapidRoller11: the T
RapidRoller11: with white lines
evildemon4384: well click that and u can put that any where go put it somwhere
RapidRoller11: and a red dot in the middle?
evildemon4384: do wut i said
RapidRoller11: that is a free support node
RapidRoller11: i know
RapidRoller11: i know how to use NL
evildemon4384: NODE
RapidRoller11: yes
RapidRoller11: a free SUPPORT node
RapidRoller11: not TRACK
evildemon4384: y were u say "how much nodes did u use
RapidRoller11: dont make supports until you finish your track
evildemon4384: u told me that question
RapidRoller11: i meant the blue dots between track segments
RapidRoller11: those are nodes too
evildemon4384: *censored* YOU
RapidRoller11: so
RapidRoller11: you dont want to make loops?
evildemon4384: i gonna have my teacher teach me it

To be honest, I think its a lost cause with him haha. It sort of sounds like he meant the standard supports by the brown line

dude well he got me really frustrated. has anyone tried reading my name EVIL CLOWN. and besides i was practically falling a sleep dont blame me. he wouldn't get straight to the point and he kept getting things mixed up. he didn't tell me enough detail. can someone teach me how to do this simply without going off subject and someone who doesn't get things mixed up.

Dude, go to HELP in the editor and use the help tools. They are there for a reason and will certainly explain things as fast or as slow as you can read and comprehend them. Geesh ...

You are really starting to piss me off. YES, I DO blame you for asking for help, then not listening. I spent my FREE TIME trying to help you. I did not go off-topic, I explained everything to you so you would be able to build stuff correctly, and so nothing would be confusing. I did NOT get things mixed up. You are the one who thought there are 6 feet in a meter, and you were building your entire "track" out of supports. Please just give up already and either try to learn, or don't and realize that you are an idiot.
