Halo 2 in stores by Midnight tonight!!

According to the Eb Games site as well as seeing this on the ABC World News....Halo 2 will be in stores tonight at midnight. They showed a Toys"r"us in New York where there was a long long line to get the game tonight.....The news said they have already pre-sold 4.5 million copies.....just thought I would let you know...for those who have those 24-Hour Wal-marts or a EB Games near but should go pick it up tonight....I am!!!!!!![:D]

I know it may not count dude, but there are some that really want this game and I thought I would just give them the heads up. If you go the the EB Games site on the Home Page they give a listing of the EB Stores that are taking place in the Midnight Madness as they call it!!!

why is everyone so uppidy aboot this, its just a game, i find it kinda funny how its all over the news, but other major games have gotten no publicity at all. Its a game people.

yeah, and plus I know people who have had the french version of the game for nearly a month now. I could just image the Toys'r'us in NY with a huge mob outside of it[lol] they've got a huge k'nex coaster configuration one side of the second floor there. heck, everything there is huge...oh, well, i guess there'll be a bunch of very happy gamers out there this week.

It's because it's gonna be the best game of all time. And it's the sequel to the game that made people buy xbox in the first play, when you say its just a game, you are strongly mistaken, it's halo!

I for one have always hated first person shooters and this is the game that changed my view so I can say this game has good stuff in it to make me change my mind.

Hehe i'm a halo gamer i play alot that but not enough to wait plenty of hours for a game ( I can't wait 2 hours or more in rides ) so imagine for a game so tomorrow or later i will see about it

I went into game stop and there was no line, got the game and left, so far this game is spectacular. I have enjoyed it a lot for the first few hours I've played. Good to play on both sides.

Halo 2 Kicks GTA's ass!!!!!

Well of course Halo 2 is better that GTA. Halo 2 is a first person shooter and GTA is more a third person mission type game. Both games are great GTA has sold over 2.5 million copies while Halo 2 has sold way over 4.5 million copies. While both games are great mind you....they are totally different in gameplay.So to me it's kinda of hard to compare the two games, but if I had to pick any I would pick both...they are on twp different systems and are both awsome looking and playing games!!!!

yeah, GTA is more of a role playing game, I think, in a way, it's a unique game type, and as said before halo 2 is and FPS. But what I like especially about halo 2 is that they give you the options to have a little more diversity with the game play, so if you get bored with one thing, you can switch to another. I'll hopefully get to play tomarrow. I was suppose to play yesterday, but my friend whose house I was going to had to cancel (without telling me) do to drivers ed.

well after passing the game I am disappointed in it. I was expecting more, a lot more. We all know there will be a Halo 3 after seeing the ending.

My mate went up town last night at midnight when the shops opened especially to sell halo 2. He queued for 3 hours before buying the game, but got it in the end, with the special edition case, looks proper sweet [;)]. Obviously first thing he did was see what its like on Legendary and its not as hard as the fir5st one according to him, although he's only just finished the second level as it took him 6 hours

Same here, and the graphics aren't that impressive as to when you go back to halo 1, the graphics look really crappy. So in other words, playing halo 1 still is fun, and still looks pretty good. But that ending could be on of the crappiest. They could have had a satisfying ending like they did with the first halo, instead of it having it hang so soon like that. Makes you wanna beat the crap out of them, and make sure they come out with halo 3 as soon as possible.

Geesh my 9 yrs old brother passed the game.he was doing some CO-OP as well but still short lol

I passed it the same day I got it I have also passed it on co op as well.
