Getting a new computer

Howdy all i will get rid of my oldy computer of 433 hmz so im getting a nwe computer could u guys tell me if it's allright as me Gamer that will play alots of game ex: halo 2 CS , Q3A Rollercoastertycoon 3 .

Pentium 4 3.0 GhZ
512mb of memory
128MB Geforce xt5000 something like that
200 Gig on HDD
Ficken large flat screen
Optical mouse 2.1 speakers and keyboard that come with that

Is that enough u think or too much ?
And the price wasent expanisve so much for this type of computer

Wtf! 1500$! Thats pretty steep for those specs. I would buy a kit or self build mate!. Save at least 200-300$ on it then. You can spend that for more upgrades! But that system is very good for games! Not the price

Yer but remember , 4 usb slots ethernet 100mbit dvd rom cd rom cd/dvd+rw writer u know this sort of stuffs and remember 1500 the 500 is for the screen ! the computer it self cost 1000$ something like that.

youre getting really ripped. My specs: 3200+ AMD 64bit, KV8-PRO MoBo, 120GB Western Digital HD, 9800Pro 256MB modded to XT, Z-5300 5.1 THX Surround Sound, wireless logitech optical mouse/keyboard, Antec SuperLan Boy case, thermaltake venus 12 fan (keeping a cool 24C idle, ~40C 100% load), 19" Samsung SyncMaster 910v lcd monitor. I get about 19500 in 3dMark2001SE. All for $2100 which includes SHIPPING, TAX, and misc. (500 went to monitor).

its a waste. the mother board has alot of connections your not gonna use. you could be getting alot better for your money. www.newegg.com go shopping, have fun. btw, when you get it, benchmark 3dMark201SE on it.

wow, dude, you got ripped big time! you paid $1000 more than me for a computer with a slight edge and fewer USB ports[lol]. oh, wait, i paid an extra $120 on other junk...but still I have the media reader, the dvd and cdr/w, 512 ram, 120mb grapics card with tv in/out, 120 GB in HD space, a decent athlon CPU, you get the picture.

if your talking to me, you are so wrong in many ways. As a loooong time computer enthusiast, i can assure you, i did not get ripped. Besides having my dvd+-rw, cd+-rw, floppy,and other perps, this computer outdoes yours in so many ways. first off, you (im assuming) have a standard 32bit processor. not bad, standard. however, i chose the recent 64bits, adding a crazy amount of different architecture. This different architecture is not only faster, but more efficent. Im curious though, how you managed to get a 120MB graphics card, because, they well, dont exist. The 9800PRO 256MB/256bit i have is self modded to XT speeds, with the stock cooler removed. and besides, a decent athlon hides what you really have, there is no way to really compare what you have to mine without giving the version. Im sure though that its less than average. Please post real specs, then we shall talk.
