lol, i find that most people in this country who learned english as a second, third or even fourth language end up speaking it better than those born with it hehe.

Let me sum up what i think in general. SOME Rap isn't horriable, but stuff like Snoop Dog is just plain horriable in my mind. That's the kind of stuff you crank up in the school parking lot and drive like a gangsta(hehe, dont ask about it). Stuff with a good beat is good. Rap is fun to dance to, but rock is funner. Rock music=Mosh pits[:D][:D], to bad our freakin teachers yell at us for doing them at homecoming[:(!]. I still will never buy a rap cd, i like the songs better when there not singing, just the beat.

Back to rap...there is one song i know that actually starts fights, well it makes people act like they are about to fight you, i guess a gangsta mosh pit (lol). the song, knuck if you buck.

ha, well im 6'0 190 and only a freshmen so mosh pits don't scare me. Mosh is fun, unlike fighting for real. Mosh is when straingers and friends unite and jump, scream, and slam into each other as one

All of the people i know who speak slang (ebonics) can speak proper english. They just choose not to or they dont care

The fact that they dont care, that shows some lack of being an adult...or trying to be one. I dont mind some slang here and there, for a joke, or what not, but those who speak it as their second language, its just not too intelligent.

yeah that's a real good point. Alot of the lyrics involve "F!@# school, droping out exc...

and lets not forget that song that has lyrics something like "get high, high, high" over and over again lol.... wonderful message for a song (if ya dont remember it, it was popular about a year or so ago)

Nice song about how Rapper's are obsessed with drugs. If rappers sing about it, why aren't they arrested for suspicion on being on drugs?
