well, this is the first I have heard of it. looks interesting, but something I would never play. the fact is that the makers of the game were bent on making so there was no chance for there to be a conspiracy. it is designed for a single gunner only. What I would have done is make a game with multiple options so that the player may decide whether there was one or more gunmen at the scene. let the user draw there own conclusions about the recreation rather than giving them a pre-designed one. i'm sure there will be a lot of people upset about this, but I don't find it very offensive.

We have a game that simulates storming the beaches of Normandy. No one had any problems with that. We have games that simulate the time of the nazis, again, no one was up in arms with that.

We have games that simulate all kinds of war/assassination attempts and its been ok. But now that theres a game based on the assassination of a president, its suddenly ok? I still think the idea isnt so great, but its hypocritical to say that emulating one assassination is wrong and all these other recreations of historical events is ok.

Weve got games recreating all branches of the military as well as special forces, special scenarios and so forth. Thousands of men and women died in alot of those scenarios, so whys it now bad to simulate one man dieing and its ok to simulate scenes where thousands lost their lives?

To me its just a hypocritical situation because its targeting one person in history. Seems as though if you target more than one group, or one large group, people are ok with it. And alot of those games have "assassination" style missions where you go and try to take out either a made up character representing a real one, or, they actually recreate the person and their mission in meticulous detail.

I agree, it should be more open ended, but I also think people need to realize its not the only game out there recreating a scene or scenes from historic events where Americans, or in general, people die.
