I thought that is what you were getting at ...

If you don't want to discuss it here man I can TOTALLY respect that. PM works fine for me (if you want) as I have another friend who has been chatting with me about something similiar ... I was just seeking to understand your views, that's all bud.

doc?????????u?????????men?????????ta?????????ry - Presenting facts objectively without editorializing or inserting fictional matter, as in a book or film.

[url=http://www.davekopel.org/terror/59Deceits.pdf]

while many of the facts portrayed in moore's mid-life crisis, oops I mean Fahrenheit 9/11 (plz notice spelling!!!), are true, the way in which they are shown is oftentimes fictional. moore actually does a good job in giving solid facts, but his seething hatred for GW overshadows everything. the plain truth is he distorts his opinion into "fact." you asked for some counterproof, so this is the simple explanation. now start researching some history, because that's the only way to formulate good foreign policies today.

pacoasterrider: its not that i hate america.. it's a greta country. i just hate the fact that we seem to think that we're the world's police force and i really really don't like how bush just does as he pleases. the country itself is great (a bit too religious but great). i just really don't like the current administration.

tconwell: what did you wanna talk about in pm? gay marraige? if ya wanna talk that's fine but i really don't know what to say unless you have questions for me

rocketboy: you're about the only one who's made sence so far when putting down that movie lol. and i agree that it's extremely biased and his facts are presented with his opinions.. making them somewhat distorted. it's about time someone said that instead of just saying "not everything in that movie is true" again hehe.

we are the world's police force, name one country stronger in millitary. Anyway, there is no way bush does what he want's, in reality, the president doesn't really rule a country. That's why we have the senate, house, and all that stuff. Bush won because more people liked him (well no duh), Kerry i thought was a bad canidate to begin with, i would of considered (considered being a big word there) supporting for Dean, he seemed so much better to me. As our World Cult. teacher states, only 15% of america is strict to one party, the rest go ether way. Anyway, it's a republican counrty, better get used to it.

I know of a few countries that have caused more casualties to us than we have done to them. So I am not sure that are indeed the strongest military power. YEah the country has the senate, house of reps etc, but the president can start a war without a prior approval of the house. So in essense the president can get us in a lot of trouble without us hav ing a say. Plus the house is controlled by people who think like him and follow what he says so in essense he does control that as well. as for your last sentence, I beg to differ, I wont be getting used to a republican view as those views are not mine so I will remain a WeeWeeSlapian and follow my own doctrine which has always worked well for me [pshades]

That had to be the most immature thing i have read all day, probably week, and maybe month. Let me explain. You own a house (assuming that if your an adult you own some property). To leave, you need to do many things, most costing alot of money, which some people dont have. [sidenote]thanks to Bush for redirecting billions towards war instead of education ($146,794,732,000, which will increase by $600,000 by the time i finish posting this [~5 min]).[/sidenote]

Just more jobs for us. I have already realised at the age of 15 how lucky i am to be an american, and how proud i should be of it.

Good for you, now learn how to use proper grammer and spelling.

or Africa where you live under a tree.

No, they dont. I would like to see your facts stating that Africans live under trees.

People in Africa don't even know what a rollercoster is.

Prove it.

Strength does not mean anything if you don't use it correctly. Hitler had a strong military, but that doesn't mean poop.

I'll continue this post later after I finish re-educating myself after reading some of your posts (not just you, but most people in this thread).

to add to that: yes, africa has roller coasters so they MUST know what one is! and sometimes i'd rather live under a tree in africa... those people have something that most of us would envy... ignorance of such things happening and existing. it's a much more peaceful life.

Coaster, I think we have found something we both agree on: The fact that if our lives were simplified, our stress level would be muck lower.

It doesn't mean anything cause we kicked his ass!

Africa does have rollercoasters, but mostly in the civilized area's, ask the Zulu's and i bet they have no clue. Ok, they don't live under a tree, they live in a cut up one. I bet coaster you wouldn't want to live under a tree, just think about it for a second. Also If our lives were simplified, we wouldn't be stressed out, but it's life. Stressing out is something we can't stop, and have to live with. I love how a great letter from a USA marine turns into another b@#ch fight (yes i did help it start). I probibally should stop

Show me facts where the USA kicked Hitler's ass. Methinks someone needs to research WWII some more before shooting off at the mouth.

Do you live in a house? If so, you also live in a cut up tree since wood comes from trees and houses are made of wood.

Perhaps it was you who said something about the education system of America. Based on all the crap you have spurted in this topic, it appears that that very education system doesn't work all that well.

i agree with the edge.. this war is stupid and pointless. iraq posed NO threat to us and we had no reason to go in there. yes, it's good that saddam is gone, but without an attack on us, we had no buisiness to go in there at all.

Yes, let?????????s wait for your brother, or my uncle, or your neighbor to die before we do something. This may sound selfish, but I'd rather have the war over there than here. People have to think of themselves everyone in a while. And like TC said, in the long run, this will do a lot more good than harm.
Anyways, imo, I think in supporting the left, shortkid has done the best job in presenting the materials and arguments, and for the right, TC, because he was in the military, and that should count for something.
Anyways, about this whole war on terrorism thing, maybe Iraq was crucial, maybe not. I'm now thinking that maybe Iran might have been a better target. But, I'm not that sure. Anyways, now that these event have happened, stop bitching about it, and pray that they get in their and out of their as fast as they can, but do things right in the process. Of course there will be screw ups along the way, no bodies perfect. I'm not, you aren't, and your mom and pop aren't. So get used to having disappointments in your life. Your dream of a Utopia is never going to come true. Humans are to selfish, and stuck-up to realize what life would be like if we all got just left each other alone. But need for power drives the human engine. The fact that I'm better than someone pushes me on. Dictators have that power, and it's up to someone to put them back down in their place. Sometimes they don't cooperate, or don't cooperate in a sincere way, giving us reason to attack. Some times it's for a good reason, sometimes your intuition proves wrong. And what Bush did was go off of his intuition to try to protect the American people. He's not Iraq's president, he's not suppose to care about their security, but if we do, it will build friendships along the way to better society. But society is never happy with what they have. Ex. I'm bored just typing right now, I'm not happy, I want to do something, but I don't want to go to bed, I'm not happy. Now, if we bring some one from like the 1700's to our time period, they'd think they've died and gone to heaven. People have become so lazy, and don't see what drives human beings, and fail to realize what happens when you neglect human drive. Its 2 things, sex and power. Mostly power, women = power, money = power, everything eventually leads up to power. And Saddam was at a position of power, and do to the way he was operating things, and had previously operated thing, the President felt it would be better for everybody as a whole to take him out. We tried to pass this through the UN, but they wouldn't help. They wanted to sit, and tea with some one who only understands pain. The enemy does not fear pain or death. They fear freedom. Why else would they blow themselves up? For their religion? Ha! I doubt that Allah would ever say go blow up non-Muslims for I have commanded have told you this through Muhammad. This is supposedly the Almighty that the Jews and the Christians pray to. And that God would not command such a thing. This is the main enemy, the person who kills you for having what ever beliefs you may have. This is the man who will do anything to kill you. He'll be wounded, and when you come to help him, he blows you up. He doesn't give a crap what you?????????re doing for him; he only cares about what you?????????re doing against him. That's making everybody enjoy freedoms. And this is the enemy that the guy shot in fear for his life. This is the enemy that we originally went after in Iraq. The power hungry vermin who will stop at nothing to get to the top. And still not be satisfied, and keep on going. You got to sacrifice some lives to save more.
Now, anyways, now that I've done a horrible job on presenting my point, and lost completely what I was talking about, continue on.

- WOw, that was a lot of spelling errors, I must have clicked change in word at least a billion times [:D]

i see that explains alot coaster. The problem with PA going to Kerry was philadelphia. I guess the cities is in more trouble (and want's change) then a rural area that i live in. My area went 70%-Bush 21%-Kerry and 9%-Nader I never really thought of that. God i pretty much give up on this whole thing. Haha like noone likes me here, pretty funny. My house is achually made of wood, bricks, plaster, concreete (bad spelling), insulation, and much more, not just wood and leaves. Hitler lost, no matter how you look at it, are the Nazi's rulling the world? Nope. I never studied WWII but i do understand that Hitler lost.

That made me laugh, Hilter literaly destroyed most of the US and UK's amry. Also what the hell do you now have against Africa? Is it the Euthopians? Maybe they have nuclear weapons....you better go check that out for me when you get some spare time, and if you dont find any thats probaly caused theylost them...so decalre war on them anyway and stealthere Oil.

Also Iran has nukes? No poop America has thousands of them...yet no one declares war on America...and you can say America has them for protection all you want, and what would male that different from Iran having any
