Need help with a file.

Does anyone know where to put the "zlib.dll" file?

you need to put it in c:\windows\system32\

When I try this it does 2 things. It asks me what I want to open it with, or it says c:/windows/system32/ is not a valid folder.

just go to the directory in this computer and paste the file there...

If you have the latest track packager you do not need this file and theres no need for it. The latest Track Packager can open the .exe's and the .nlpack files. It can even convert the .exe to the .nlpack.

I dont have the zlib on my computer and it works fine.

When I download the patch for the packager it says path not found even when I've installed the packager first. How do I use the packager?

Also where in c:\windows\system32\ do I put the zlib.dll file and what do I open ot with?

first, its WINDOWS, not windows, and you can download any patches you need at gravimetric studios.

If you are using WinXP it would not be the Windows directory, but WINNT.

And actually Grim, it is Windows, not WINDOWS. But if you are talking about how it appears in the c: drive ... it can be either, so quit being pissy. [V]
