Thriller was most likly his best. If someone chose any, I would expect Thriller.

Fireproof - Pillar (original mix)
Relient K - Mmhmm
Relient K - Two Lefts Dont Make a Right, but Three Do
John Reuben - Hindsight
John Reuben - Are We There Yet?
Steven Curtis Chapman - All About Love
Thousand Foot Krutch - Set It Off
Falling Up - Crashings

Lots of others, just the ones I can remember off the top of my head.

Kind of a difficult question to answer...especially with newer music. Hard to know yet whether the new music will stand the test of time.

Led Zeppelin - Presence
Black Sabbath - Volume 4
Funkadelic - One Nation Under a Groove
Alice in Chains - Dirt
Van Halen - Women and Children First
Stevie Wonder - Original Musiquarium I

Prolly not a full list, but is all I can think of right now.

t.conwell i realize that you do put some value on art in music, as indicated by the groups you chose. even though they aren't groups i like much they're groups that are worthy of the intrest people have in them. maybe it's a matter of seeing the forest for the trees. i agree thriller is kinda a cheesy album, and would not own that record, but i understand the reference. the musicianship on that album surpasses anything on any metallica album, regardless of how lame we might think it is in comparison.( i will even be willing to admit that i would buty a metallica album if the price was right, even if it is too UUUURRRRRRRRRAAAA for my tastes and not thriller unless it was free) Kev i gotta hand it to you , one nation under a groove is a wonderfuly produced album... as is the stevie wonder record. not the typical "lets scare the crap out of mom and dad" korn b.s. that most of the adolescent d and d'ers pretend to be into. here's mine
1.... after bathing at baxters... jefferson airplane.
2 .... pure phase... spiritualized (replaces piper at the gates of dawn in this list... really)
3 ..... velvet underground... velvet underground...(nod o rama)
4... exile on main street and sticky fingers ... rolling stones.... sex, drugs and rock and roll, epitomized...
5.... funkadelic ... funkadelic.... eddie hazel r.i.p. WHAT IS SOUL? i don't know...
ps... i edited this because i openede my big fingers before i thought out what i was gonna type..[B)] it was just kinda dumb

There are some great albums already mentioned and I agree with most of them. (The rest are probobally albums I need to listen to)

Here are a few of the best albums I didn't see already:
Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf
Fatboy Slim - You've Come a Long Way Baby
The Prodigy - The Fat of the Land
Kula Shaker - K
Lamb - Best Kept Secrets: the Best of Lamb

Also, there's nothing wrong with thriller. Some people just don't like Michael Jackson's lifestyle (including me). Thriller is not on the top of my list but its not on the bottom either.

o.k. with me, you fill out your intrest well with dark side of the moon, so long as one listens to music becuase they're into music is all that matters... besides i'll admit that even though i'm not into korn it's a real band with real musicians, and score one more for showmanship...maybe i'm just old...hehehe

m\Meh, its all good. I have an insanely wide range of music that I like, from Fear Factory to Prodigy(An awesome techn-ish band) to Zeppelin tp Pink Floyd, and even Relient K, if it sounds good I'll listen to it.

Yeah, that and the fact that it makes no sense... [;)]

But anyways....

To Kev,
I can't believe you like Presence so much...I don't have it, but I've heard the songs, and it really doesn't hold a candle to Zep's first 6 albums, especially considering it's really not an album in the sense that Zep made albums...

And for TC,
Yeah, a couple Rush albums do make the honorable mention list for me, as do some Cream albums which I forgot to mention. But I'm really surprised to see the absence of Moving Pictures from your Rush list, as that is my fav by far....

Moving Pictures is so cliche ... [lol]

Actually, it is more or less a "given" if you are a Rush fan. I mean, where would we be without Tom Sawyer, Red Barchetta, Limelight, Vital Signs, Witch Hunt, The Camera Eye or YYZ? [lol]

Seriously though, I hit the ones that most do not mention (even though 2112 is pretty standard for Rush fans as well ...) --- but overall if you like Rush, Moving Pictures needs to be the understood in the foundation of appreciation of them, eh?

I like Presence because it has a very raw and unrehearsed sound. For Your Life, Nobody's Fault But Mine, and Tea For One are among my favorite Zeppelin songs. I also like their first album for pretty much the same reason. Physical Graffiti is high up on my list too.

Yeah Kev, For Your Life, Tea For One, and Achilles' Last Stand are all really good songs, but the rest of the album really doesn't hold up that well...Royal Orleans is ok, but Hots On and Candy Store Rock just aren't that good, IMO...and Nobody's Fault But Mine is much better live...
