It IS NOT THE STYLE. It's that silly glass station that's used. Deleting that doubled my frame rate on that track, from the low teens, to about 25-35 fps.

Nevermind, I just DLed the update, sorry, lol.

I think this update was ok, Not sure if I'll use those trains though. Well, I'll be wating for the B&M & steel looper train updates.

I have nothing against this update though. It didn't mess up anything. Though they should probably add something else next time, dunno.

It was just a small update for the christmas season, geez.

I have yet anyways to see anyone complain with any legitimate argument, most of its just for the sake of argueing/complaining.

I wanted the style, dont know about you. Flyers SUCK and so do 4D's and the other "hot" items on the list. I am still waiting for the full update on the trains and track for the rest of 1.5 which Im SURE is still being worked on.

Oh and ham sucks. Theres nothing they could do to please everyone. Im sure they could do everything that many of the people hear want and people would still complain. Its that natural human urge to "be heard" and "be in the spotlight".

I was working on a coaster in the exact style so its a nice small little update.

I thought i already confirmed that was the reason we were complaining.

Its that natural human urge to "be heard" and "be in the spotlight".

I would have gone for 'its the urge to be different, and stop brown nosing everyone else' Why settle for second best? Furthermore, sure Flyers and 4ds suck, but they dont suck half as bad as these new trains. But then again its not that i ever use NL anymore, the whole game is a farce...i just complaining because i'm bored...and right

Last night, I found exactly 1 use for the update, oblivion. The new trains look better on oblivion recreations than any other, but thats the only use i found.

^ I was thinking the same.
as for ride, it is a very laggy ride, even without the glass (why would you put so many polies into that thing anyways?). So I don't know, it will probably not be a train style I'll use, but if Dirk's happy, I'm happy.[lol]

lol, what i noticed that was i couldn't make a train with more then 2 or less then 2 cars. It shamely keeps it on 2 cars. DANG. I just wanted to make a 50cars eurofigher[lol]

Think about it for a second. Each row has one pair of wheels, and while the rows can roll indpendently, they are fixed for pitch and yaw. So a 3+ car train could only handle perfectly straight track, and a 1 car train would fall over.

What happened to the building technique on their recreations / update coasters? It's like they're not even trying anymore. And who wants to build those lousy little coasters over 4ds and fliers anyway? Conclusion: Bring on NL v1.6, and quit wasting time on crap like this.

They didn't waste time on this. They made this coaster style for Gerstlauer, not for other NL users.

So what your saying is NL didnt make this for the people that have bought the program, rather they get paid for making by Gerstlaurer, then several months later think they will give the users the update. Seems fair to me

Yes, the EF track style and trains aren't that special and the people from Gerstlauer are the only ones who really needs this. If they would have build this trackstyle for the people who bought NL it would have been a flying or a suspended coaster.

Would it have been fair if Gerstlauer kept this trackstyle to themself instead of sharing it with us?

Is a good question, but i do beleive the Gerstlauer track had been around for a while. I do remember the first demo, and to be honest i, i dont know about anyone else, wasnt to fussed on the tracl. I thought they would have released it then and there, but now a year or so later im really sure no one would have really cared if they kept it to themself.
