I think Georgia Scorcher looks like a great ride. Mantis also looks great, but I 've heard some bad reports on it, so I chose the scorcher.

^What bad reports? Mantis is a great ride. Haven't been on others though, so I won't vote.

I'll give you one....it's not that great...and it's rough as hell. Only a few good spots...the little twisting hill before the MCBR, and the floaty loop.

Ill give report #2.

All of that plus REALLY bad trains. They vibrate like crazy, way more than any other beemer Ive been on and I believe the only ride type Ive yet to ride are their drop machines. They shutter and vibrate like crazy and Mantis is trimmed heavily. Which is good and bad. Without it, its too fast and too rough. With it, you get floater air in the loop and dive loop, but you get a terrible brake on the way down.

As stated above, the only really good parts are those and the twisty airtime hill before the MCB. The 2nd half of Mantis is one of the worst in B&M history IMO. Its so lame.

I would go with Vortex PGA. It looks like its a tight, compact ride with good G's and Ive heard its not that rough and actually likeable. Same for Scorcher though. Basically, Scorcher, RRv and Vortex are the top 3 Stand Ups.

Even though Stand Ups are the biggest gimmic rides there are. They are flat out not-fun. And that says alot, considering they are the only ride type I think arent fun. (Then again, I need to ride one that is to change my mind :) )

I think the best is scorcher, i've been on 2 other standups (mantis and batman the escape) and scorcher is more intense, and it has no headbanging and it is sooo smooth.
