Dragon2000 is right the site is getting kind of boring lately. Why not boost it up with some shockwave features, moving objects and stuff?

Christmas, pffft, boooooooring, all it is is people giving each other terrible presents that no one wants, yet they have to pretend to like it "oooooh great yes, another love jigsaw puzzle, thank you sooooo much"
It would be easier if everybody bought their own gifts wouldn't it, cus i mean, u'd like your presents then no doubt. Christmas is the time of year when all of your crap relatives come round, relatives that you haven't seen since crimbo last year, but theres a reason for that, because they're all proper knobs anyway. I'm having to hide away in my room right now because my auntie is downstairs and she's a proper bintfaced cockwrangler.

Its all a massive comercial farce anyway. And why the feck does it have to start in the middle of October, I mean for feck sake, there aint no 3 month build up to my birthday, so why the hell does jesus have one, what a selfish cock [lol]. Its not like you see adverts in June giving you ideas for what presents to buy for myyyy birthday in August is it? By the time it actually is Christmas, I'm bored still of it, bloody jingle bells, yeah great. Hey, isn't 'jingle bells' a sexual reference?? hmmm, maybe thats just me. Stupid Christmas, The 28th of August isn't called "Gouldmas eve" is it? and the 29th of August isn't called "Gouldmas day" why does cuntface himself, "Jesus" deserve to have all these days named after him, tut tut tut. Rant over......well not really, cus I'll just sit here a mumble to myslef for the rest of the day cus I'm wierd [;)]

humbug

Poor Gouldy ... seemed to enjoy getting gifts though as he posted his gift list on another thread - but oh yeah - "humbug".

Shut up man, you are embarassing yourself. <groan>

Some random crappy gadgets such as a shower radio and a pen radio (Why?)
New pair of Football socks
Two new PS2 controllers
New Optical mouse for my PC (Sadly, not a new PC lol)
And plenty of Chocolate and Candy [:)]

I would have traded it all in for a new PC though [:(]

And oh yeah ... the whole Jesus rant you went on.
You'll get that one answered personally one day, I promise. [;)]

What if Gouldy wants to become a Muslim in later life? Then he wouldnt meet Jesus anyway. Plus Jesus seems like a fairly boring person to me. Is there no sex in his life at all, even his parents were virgins, maybe Jesus was just a realyl ugly guy or (this is one of my theories) Jesus was actualy a 1337 Haxor from the future, that managed to haxor the system and thus go back in time, and with some help from a little bit of code alteration, he managed to make miricles happen. I mean all that bread trick was a copy and paste job.

Hmmm, Edge ... pettiness complimented with stupidity without common sense or foundation ... when you see Him, you can ask Him, too.

Romans 14:11-12:
"It is written: As surely as I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.????????? So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God."

Philippians 2:9-11:
"Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

And oh, before you respond with something as uneducated as "I do not believe ...", let me say that you do not have to believe in something for it to be true. Truth is still truth. Good luck.

yeah Tconwell does a good job summing this up. According to my pastor the Christian/Muslim/Jew all believe in the same god, they just end at differen't points in history in there book.

Heh PA ... did you know I am a Pastor? LOL

Either way, I feel there is no need to go into a long drawn out thing on this on a coaster board or bothering to argue the point to death ... truth is still truth ... and either way, one day we shall all know if I was right or wrong, eh?? :-)

"oh God"? Interesting, I thought you did not believe in Him ... hmmmmmm, odd that you would exclaim His name then, hmmmmm ... very odd indeed. (scratches chin)

But nope, you got the quotes already my friend. No need for me to continue on and on, you've heard the truth and can never again say to anyone (hint: the key word here is "anyone") that you did not hear it at least once in your life.

it's funny somehow...people celebrate Christmas and yet they dont believe.. Hasn't anyone realised the whole friggin point of christmas. The point of Christmas is Jesus Crist, our savior being born. Jesus was the gift from God to the human race, and that's why we give gifts to loved ones. Jesus brough joy to the world, as new video games brings joy to me and others.

--edit-- no i didn't know that you were a pastor tconwell lol

erm... actually i'm roman catholic, i belive in god and celebrate x-mas and all that. i just think the bible should never be brought into a serious debate / argument / discussion. unless of course your talking specifically about the bible.

and btw, tconwell.. when it comes to religion, truth is an opinion.

now i suggest that either this topic gets back on subject or it gets moved to the off topic forum [:D]

Why?

Personally, I dont feel a strong pull to put my faith in other people, scientists or people of that nature. Humans are full of errors and so is everything we touch. I feel safer not putting my life in the hands of another human personally. Why trust in something thats anything but perfect?

So Ill celebrate the real meaning of the day. Obviously it was created with that purpose, but now its been watered down by society and media as an all purpose general holiday. Whatever, we cant control that. Infact, we can only help one life at a time.

So I hope everyone had a good christmas. Maybe some of you reflected on good times, others maybe reflected on what the day stands for. Whatever the case, Hopefully it was enjoyed and certainly not wasted.

And while Im at it Ill stoke the fire some:

yeah Tconwell does a good job summing this up. According to my pastor the Christian/Muslim/Jew all believe in the same god, they just end at differen't points in history in there book.

Well, I wouldnt exactly say that. They all believe in a central God, but I wouldnt say my God is similar to that of muslim or Jews. For one, I dont know much of Muslim so I wont say much there. I dont want to base what I know on media. But I do know alot about the Jewish faith and knowing that they dont believe Jesus was also God, then my God isnt the same as theirs. God also used Jesus to bring Him closer to me, not farther away. The Jewish seem to hold God away at arms length, like hes too Holy to know personally. Hence why real Jews dont ever say or write out God. They will write it G-d because they believe even the name is too holy. While thats a good thing, knowing how holy He is, the difference is that they dont accept Jesus as their God who came to sever those very bonds and traditions and ultimatly, to make it a one on one relationship free of many of the rules and standards that were set in the pre-Jesus time.

Oddly enough though, its written that the Jews will come back and will propser again. But that totally follows history. Countless times they faded from God only to come back again. They had a chance with Jesus but chose to overlook the personal power that God gave them and instead believe that God will send their messiah in the form of a military power, someone strong who will free their nation. Sadly, Jesus was that man for those people. But, like they did the past, they will at some point realize and get back what God wanted to give them. Just more examples of the forgiveness. Because really, if they can backslide as many times as they have and still be forgiven, I dont think anyone on earth can come close to them :-p

Ok Im done, heh.

Yup, and all I have said is that one day we will all know which "opinion" (to use that word loosely) was represented properly.

"Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess ..." Seems like a pretty solid promise to me.

If I could actually stoke a real fire like I can stoke that one, haha Id be in business when I go camping LOL

And there is truth in that well know which opinion ends up being truth. Im not trying to force you to believe what I do, but we will know at some point. I just know I cant lose with my decision. :)

AAAAAAAAAAHAHAHA, you have to laugh at people who believe in religon so much that they have to preach it to everyone else.

Oh yeah, TConwell, that post you made about me before where you showed that I was saying Christmas is crap and you never get what you want, then you said that I was basically contridicting myself or whatever by showing my Christmas gifts list in anpother post. Well, incase you didn't notice, that other post actually backed up my point that you never get things that you want because at the end of the post, along with an unhappy face, it says "But I would have traded it all in for a new PC" Meaning that actually, no, I didn't get what I want, just like all the other Christmas's. Also you said that obviously I liked to recieve gifts ... well duuuh.

Edge is clearly along the right lines though, I mean, you knpow David Blane, whats to say that there wasn't someone like that all that time ago, with his tricks. Quite silly tricks by David Blane, such as bringing a pigeon back to life, still baffle us today, so imagine what somebody like that would have been like to peope back then. "Jesus" was no more than a petty street magician who wanted to give a message about how to treat your fellow man. Fair enough his message was a good one and I'm all for the ideas behind Christianity, but seriously, you guys actually believe that this guy was the son of a non existant being. A figment of your imagination. And hey, wasn't God commiting adultery when he inpregnated Mary with the baby Jesus?? What a bastard! [lol]

David Blane isnt much special...And theres a difference between christianity and religion. Yes, there is. Ask me and Ill explain, but it takes more than what I want to say now.

But thats the call of a christian. To spread the word. And dont tell me youve heard it, because chances are most people havent heard or seen a real christian but mearly a poser, someone who claims to be one but is really a hypocrite. Which explains why so many people backlash, because so many people arent true.

To me its more ironic when people believe so much in their own fellow man to put their faith in man. Mans done nothing but spiraled civilization and earth downward. No matter how hard we try, well always take 2 steps back and only one step forward. Man just isnt smart enough or perfect enough, never will.

Oh and how can He commit adultery? Mary wasnt married yet ;) Hence why she was still a virgin, since most married couples erase that on the first night. But now you are getting into the USELESS points to argue. It doesnt have any bearing on anything else.

....... right, so we're still monkeys living in trees then are we?

Don't talk bollocks [;)]

I agree we'll never be perfect, of course, nothing can be perfect, perfection is the only thing which is impossible to reach. But how can you say that for every step forward, we take one step back, thats just simply untrue. You're saying that when we develop a new technology such as the internet, you're telling me that is two steps back and only one forward?

Think about it, don't just believe what "Mr. I'm so psychopathic I teach in sunday school" tels you.

Gouldy, your ranting is becoming senseless now ... I guess for your next "trick" you will drag out the Koran. Or perhaps you could start using the teachings of the WatchTower as being relevent and good to base an argument on.

Last time I checked though, Charles Russell was still in his grave.

Real, I had no idea how you thought my brother ... 'tis good to know. [;)]

No Gouldy, I merely pointed you in the direction of your own mess on the floor so that you could clean it up yourself. I have a mop available if you need one. Some arguments need no fuel as the author does well enough of a job burning himself.

ok, exaplin to me how any of the points I made were not valid, when you are trying to tell me that there is a God. If your argument is senseless, why should mine make sense?
