I got kicked out of college after one semester, so my Christmas presents were Dave Espino's EBAY course from my mom, and $500 of startup money from my dad. And in a few months, I'll be getting a mini-DV camera for myself [:D]. And to top it all off, I got a week-long lecture from my mom about how stupid I was for getting kicked out of college, and how my future was ruined and how she was never going to get to retire now. Blah, blah, blah. And, like WWS, I got a huge credit card bill that took all the rest of the money I made at Cedar Point.

Well, there is a good side to all of this... in 2 months, I'll be making as much money as my mom, doing 1/4 as much work as she does. (selling on Ebay rules!) Then, this summer, I am going on an amusement-park-a-thon to the following locations*, taking videos as I go.

1. Cedar Point
2. Holiday World
3. Kennywood
4. Dollywood (Thunderhead, OH YEAH!)
5. Hersheypark (Storm Runner, baby.)
6. Dorney Park (HYDRA! HYDRA! HYDRA!)
7. Six Flags Great Adventure (Two words, KINGDA KA!)
8. Busch Gardens Tampa (SHEIKRA's gonna rock!)

* Fine Print: All of these location are subject to quantity of winnings playing Texas Hold'em Poker. If I don't win, I probably won't be going to any of these parks because of all the insurances and other costs I have to pay for. Health insurance, car insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, home insurance, flood insurance, and that's not including my car payments, credit card payments, inventory payments, and product shipment payments. Then, of coruse, there are the monthly internet and cable fees, the payments on my college loan, electricity costs, water bills, propane bills, home improvement costs, grocery costs, income taxes, sales taxes, school taxes, the charges for being an ebay seller, charges for using paypal, repairs on my car, the ever-increasing price of keeping the car full of gas, and that's not to mention my membership to ACE, subscription to magazines, amusement park annual passes which all just expired, and the cost of buying Christmas gifts for my entire family. Well, enough said. If I have left over money after all of that, I will be going on an amusement-park-a-thon this summer. Phew. Reality sucks, doesn't it?

Well, being a bit older my presents are a little more elaborate. LOL

I took my kids to see "WWE's Armageddon" two weeks ago in Atlanta (so that was one gift to all), and my son and I went to see Metallica last month in Atlanta (yet another gift). I also bought myself a huge mouse pad (for better playing Age of Mythology - heh heh heh).

Following those I got:

"Call of Duty, Finest Hour" for PS2
A Niel Peart (from Rush) instructional DVD
Lots of Jeff Gordon and Pittsburgh Steelers stuff
Some new ties, sleep pants, blah blah blah ... lol
Some new T-Shirts - my fav says: "No, I will not fix your computer!!"
Some other clothes, some "Greatest Dad" stuff -- WOOHOO!!!

Overall though, 'twas a wonderful Christmas here at the Conwell ranch. The kids were VERY happy this year - and that is what matters to me ... as the Dad! LOL

just enough snow to have a white Christmas
American Coaster Enthusiasts membership card
Shrek 2 DVD
Digital camera with only a screen and no view finder, which is a waste of battery life, so I will have to trade it in for a better one
money
[:p]candy![:p]
new shirt
new wallet
a cool headlamp for spelunking
a set of sticks (kind of like juggling to perform cool tricks)
roller coaster tycoon 3 (I was disappointed at how incredibly unrealistic the vertical loops look)

getting sick for a week and missing all my exams. Now I've got another two weeks to study! That was the best Christmas present.

PA - I have played it once in one day, it seems very complex. Ask me again in a few weeks once I beat it and I can give you a better answer.

pacoasterrider, responding to the trip time thing... I will be heading to Hershey and Dorney some time in early to mid June. No official days yet, but I will be able to give an official word this May. I will let you know as soon as I finalize my summer schedule.

BTW, shortkid, I was kicked out of college because I was a slacker. I didn't party, I just acted like a potato and sat in front of my computer/tv screen all day. Oh, well. I really wanted to open my own business anyway. My current occupation is now "Ebay Seller / Poker Player". Stay in school, kids. [;)]
