I'm sure most of you know what my tracks are like and at the same time I'm sure all of you know that there is one thing that all of my tracks are missing and thats 3D's. You can improve any track by using 3D's, whether it be just a station or A track which is completely themed with smoke tunnels and detailed 3D's on supports etc etc...

Now, my computer is terrible and cannot support any good current 3D software, for feck sake, it can hardly support NL as it is haha. I have used programs such as Pro Desktop, CAD ...etc, before and know that I can create good 3D's myself. But, with such a bad computer, I cannot create them myself and so I am calling for help from users of this site who can. What I would like to do, is to form a bit of a team with someone who can create 3D's to a high standard and combine their talent with my own to make 'memorable' tracks using NL. Maybe if you are someone who is extremely good with 3D software yet not too good with the track aspect of things, then this is your chance to have your name attached to a track that does justice to your work .... not that I'm being big headed [lol].

At the moment I haven't got any particular projects in mind as I don't yet know if anyone is willing to do this whole 'team' thing with me, but if there is, I'm sure we could make some of the best tracks on the site. Obviously, due credit would be given to you for your part played in the creation of the tracks that we made together and I guess I'd probably end up giving you the points from winning medals, if indeed we won any medals [lol] which of course I believe we could do.

Anyway, if you are interested in the idea, then please make yourself known to me, post in this forum or even send me a private message, thanks for your time [:)]

I can make you some of the more simplistic objects, ie simple houses, 3d supports, signs, stations, etc., just e-mail me or pm me.

Ok, well, I got a few people who want to have a go now, so is there anyone else? Last chance.

Ok, there is more than one person wanting to do this, which obviously there was always going to be, but anyway, I have worked it out like this:

I'm going to create a ride and the first person who replied to this thread (Dirk Ermen) will do the 3D's for that ride. Then I will send the ride to the others and then ask if they can think of any good aditions they can add and we'll do it like that. Then, then next ride I make, the 3D's will be done by the second person who replied (e-man) etc etc...

Ok got it?

Bino Maus might have to a while until its his turn [lol]

I can make some simple objects, but I don't have time. :)

Oh, try using object creator or anim8or, they usually run as well as NL itself.

I've tried using anim8or before, My computer couldn't even open it up hahaha. Doesn't matter now as I have a good little team together now. Thanks to everyone who has volunteered their services [:)]

Right, I have now put together a ride, its a small yet strangley quite fun B&M Floorless, its one of those "short and sweet" rides. All I have to do to it is some quick terraforming, then I can send it round to you lot and you can see what you can do 3D's wise. Dirk was first to reply so the ride shall be sent to him first for the main themeing.

Dirk, the track should be coming to you sometime this week. The rest of you can expect the track sometime next week [:)]

Dudes, this track might take a ittle longer than I first thought, because the terraformer is so pathetic that I find it nearly impossible to use. I remember how easy it was to use the old terraformer and now its just poop, so yeah. I might have to finish the track this weekend .... love terraformer [V] Can't do anything about it now either cus I'm in school, bloody school *sigh*

^Haha, thanks for doing to URL for me...

Oh, that's for those who haven't updated their 3.1 terraformer. If you have, why strain the server and waste time DLing when you can fish through your NL update backup folders?

Go under "update\backup\1.3 (in your NL folder), then copy the terraformer.exe into another folder, then rename it to something else (preferably "Old NoLimitsTerraformer.exe), then put it into your NL folder.

Ok, well I've sort of got the hang of the new one now, even though I still can't get the quality that I could from the old one, but I've put together some decent terraforming now, just a couple of tweaks here and there on some stuff and I'm done, so Dirk, you might get the track tonight if all goes well, just got to draw up some plans for the Station 3D's [;)]

Dirk as per usual something has gone wrong *sigh*. My msn is being a bastard, its having its time of the month or something so yeah, we're gonna have to do all this through email instead which is a pain for me aswell because once i've read on email I have to reset my computer before I can read another one, pffft [lol] Yeah, anyway, I'm sending the stuff to you now

EDIT - Right, now theres another problem, Hotmail won't let me send a No Limits track file so basically this whole thing is going down the drain .... I love hate computers.

Erm, can you think of any other way I can send it to you?
