Although I agree and know that real designers use math (or a program to use) we are not real designers, and prefabs are any element inserted, (pre) before, already made, (fabricated) created or made,(pre-fabs (prefabricated) already made elements). No hard feelings, but we are not real designers, we are coaster lovers and NL or any other sim designers. This is a hobby and should be fun, not like a job. Using prefabs or elementary elements (EE) for a track that is to be compared with others who spent hours (30-90+), making a track equally as smooth or pumpless, is quite unfair to all other designers at this site and other coaster exchange sites. I find it also a bit odd, that you claimed you had no knowledge of the definition of a prefab, yet you know its not an EE.
Bottom line: One who uses Elementary should not recieve as high of a rate to another person, who spent countless hours slaving over a track. My new rating system with prefabs and EE, is that for every EE or prefab segment I deduct .5 of a point from either originality or technical, depending upon the situation. I always find it interesting to see the rate that may be overall a 1-2 points lower than the rest, to be reported, even if it is clearly defended even though its not all like "Great job, a perfect 10". Along with my new prefab EE system I will also never rate a coaster a 10, as no coaster is perfect, nearly like no person is either.
