Looks alright imo, seems limited to what you can actualy do. Really to me, it seems like one of those things that will be great for the first week, but then it will just get boring, but we'll find out i guess

It is not planned to include any actual 'rideable' coasters however there may well be rollercoasters as scenery within the game.

If anybody is having problems with the game the following 'workaround' has been issued:

As it seems there is an error with the starter window on some machines . Until we find a solution here is a workaround:

Create a new text file.
Open it.
Copy the following text into it and save it:

acknex_dx8.exe vr.wrs -D DX_8 -D language_english -D demo -nx 128

Rename the file to "start.bat" (and put it into your VR directory).
To start the game double-click "start.bat".

This starts the game with DirectX 8.1 in English language.

To start the DirectX 9 version you have to use instead:

acknex_dx9.exe vr.wrs -D language_english -D demo -nx 128

i kinda like the game but it was first a bit searching to the control keys... They could have added something that tells you what keys control what on the rides... [:)]
When comes the full version out?[:D]

I don't think so u need to rename it as acknex_dx9.c just let it there cause in the folder of VR you only see the _dx8 and 9

I was thinking, well, if I have Roller Coaster Tcyoon 3, what about this game makes it different?(Could you explain?)
But when the full release comes out, I'm probably gonna purchase the game, I love the crap out of flat rides.

It will probably be way more realistic than RCT3, and it will have more detail on each ride, hence why not so many featured. It must be taking a long long time to do.

I love flat rides too! My faves are KMG afterburner and Huss Topspin(with working water fountains, its like a washing machine!!!!!!!)

Well, I don't know, you have some cool feautures, like the lighting and the strobe effects, but I think Nolimits Fair Ground might still have the better graphics.

shhh, I'm trying to get them to run it on Dx9 so that way PC users can get some cool graphics! But it does look like a far better game than NLFG, even though they have the better graphics.
