o.k. i get asked all the time to "optimize my tracks"..... i do use the support optimizer, but is there some other kind of optimization? i build only wooden coasters, as i think metal rides are for riding only and don't share the same asthetic appeal as wood. perhaps it's just that wooden coasters have more supports, even when they are optimized and maybe that's why frame rates are low... in any case does anyone have any "optimization" tips, excluding the support cleaner of course.... thanks, maybe see you someday for a ride on silver bullet

Don't make them too big I guess. I never get fps problems, unless I'm on one of Bino's best 3ds worked tracks, lol.

I'm not sure if you were talking about this or not, but steel supports make fps slower than wooden ones do. This is because of the specular lighting needed. The texturing does not do as much to the framerate.

Just making sure you're not use steel supports on a larger ride.
