It kinda happened to me on my old crappy windows 98 but I probably didn't even have NL back then, but did lose stuff for my other games. After that, I backed up very often, using zip disks, but I don't really back up anymore. Recently, I did make a disk full of my stuff to take to a friends house, but on CD's, you can't delete files, only overrite. When I got back, I got the idea of placin everything in a zip file but it was too late. :(

As for RCT3 files, tracks only take a few seconds to make so it's not that big a deal IMO (unless you've spent years on scenery, lol)

A good way to hep is make a small partition on your hard drive, 1 gig and smaller will do, so if your computer crashes you can get all the files etc. from the small partition you made, as you wont have to format that.

No double posting man! I would get a computer engineer guy to look at the computer before you rush off and buy a new computer!

If it only beeping like that it is one of two things:

Take your head of the keyboard or you have a mother board error.

Take it to someone who knows what they are doing and stop trying to be Mr. Fix It before it is broken
beyond all possibility of being repaired.

This was before I had my new comp or backed up my RCT2 files. I had made my mum an awesome 4d coaster for her birthday, but I accidentally love it up royally by pressing the increase volume button (the old one had an increase volume button on the keyboard) and it awlays love it up while I was playing that. It even corrupted the saved game. Now I know better to make a back up of my RCT2 files, also this comp as a volume turn nob insted of a button.

My computer just experienced a complete hard drive meltdown, and I have lost every single file on it. Why do people write those f***ing computer viruses anyway? They need to f*** off and keep their hacking asses out of our f***ing business. What kind of sick bastards have so much free time that they have nothing better to do than make our lives miserable? I hate them.... I hate them.... I hate them....

The older macs are the equivalent ot an older pc, but the newer macs are much more user friendly. Chances are you have used a mac from 2002 or earlier which are outdated, which can happen to anything. Plus the less cash you invest the less better the performance.

macs still don't support direct x so they're still crappy, crappy gaming comps. And how can you get any more user friendly than XP? An idiot can figure it out (an ex. is myself). SO basically, you can't get more user friendly.
