If they rely on Ben they will lose. The entire team did not show up for Pittsburgh ... period.

Of course now that we have watched the stupid patriots win yet another game we get to listen to them whine for yet another week about how they're the poo and nobody ever gives them credit for it; while everyone in the press is celebrating about how they're the ONLY person in the media who ever gave the pats credit; ignoring the fact that the rest of America's print media is busy sucking Belichick's weenie at the same time.

Of course, I just watched my team collapse to NE for the third time in four years and of course got to watch them celebrate on our field again.

But my hope for the future is simple. Since NE is losing half of their coaching staff and their defense is old, I would enjoy it now while you can Pats fans .... next year NE will not be anything and Ben will be in year 2, with 1 loss to his record.

Yes, I believe we shall meet again!

Yeah you knew it...you sure were pumping the Steelers up all week in the "Predictions" thread, and now when they lose, of course, you knew it. You've been touting Roethlisberger as one of the greatest QBs ever all year, and the last two weeks he's looked like nobody. C'mon, now...the Steelers just aren't as good as the Patriots. The Patriots are just plain a better team with a better coach with a better QB and a better defensive plan. Sure I root for the Steelers, but they didn't have much of a chance, it seemed.

I hope this doesn't come out sounding offensive...

Marty, Marty, Marty ... do you ever as a fan STOP pumping up your own team? The answer is no in case you are thinking about becoming cynical (translation: moronic - LOL) here. :-)

However, the entire NFL army of analysts, not too mention the whole Steeler organization TO INCLUDE the players all said, (and I quote): "We (they) cannot rely on Ben to win the game for us, we all have to perform." And what happened? Of course they relied on Ben, he tried to make the big plays rather than letting the team play, and he got whipped like a rookie ... no shock there.

Read the press today ... everyone agrees ... they were outplayed, but were certainly not the team that has played all year. The pressure was too much on the "kid's" shoulders, and it was obvious, IMO. The sad thing is, though, this may be the last chance for some of the older guys - like Bettis, and I think this is the last we see Burress in the Black and Gold ... arghhhhhhhhhh

Hah, Patriots...my team?? The 49ers are my team, and I have to cheer for the Bears. I have a strong dislike for the Patriots...just because they are so good. I was definitely cheering for the Steelers to make a run at it in the second half the other night, but when I watched the game, I could tell who was the better team.
