[lol] I wouldnt want to be a teacher. I see enough teachers putting up with ignorance from students. Luckly, tho, I've seen many teachers recently that are really layed back and actually play games in class *Cough*graphics teacher*Cough*Computer maintenance teacher*Cough*

That sounds like a guilty conscience there Gumball meladdo? ;)

Teaching isn't too bad, except for the kids...

Just like retail is a great job, without the customers ;)

Teaching really does vary though, depends on what you're teaching and who you're teaching it to. I taught parts of the MCSE to peeps 18+ once, that was just plain fun :)

I'm not saying I'm a trouble maker, but my 8th grade english class was horrible. The teacher had to put up with almost 30 students who all caused trouble. Me and some other person were the only ones who actually knew better. On the other hand, my graphics teacher is cool and stuff. He plays games even with students and stuff. I guess the class makes the teacher's experience.

Yeah, we had one of those teachers in year 8, Irish bloke. Everyone ripped the piss out of him. Sitting under desks and crap like that.

He only laster 3 months with our class, the piddled off back to Ireland!

Quite a challenge, considering that the year before we'd sent one teacher to Dubai and made another leave the profession.

I wasn't particularly fond of that class :(

Structural Engineering - Did it as my work experience. Being an international rockstar would also be good, but that is'nt on the cards to be honest!

Yeah, I'll probably go to the University of Illinois next year to become an engineer...most likely a structural engineer. Though, I have always thought that car design would be amazingly fun ever since I began drawing cars when I was really young...but I'd have to say engineering is a much more realistic opportunity.

You never know, i'm just pissed at U2 for stealing my name 'The Edge' That would have been my name 'when' i become a rockstar. My outlook of life these days, since i posted this topic 2 years ago, is either a) Win it big on the lottery and not have to do much for the rest of my life b) Become famous and earn alot of money for doing not much (rockstar) or my final resort c) become an some kind of designer.

Wow, looking back at the topic its quite intresting to see all the people that used to be around. Aterlatus, Elfy, Princess G, Spaceman

Not sure what I wanted to be growing up. Lots of things.

However, right now Im focusing on moving up through the corporate ladder at UPS. However, as odd as this sounds, Im just looking forward to being a great husband to my future wife. (Ive already got her, just gotta get the money to pay for all the good stuff) I find a heck of alot more satisfaction being with her and everything we have done together than ANY job could ever give me. Its the one thing Ive always wanted all of my life and Ive found the one I want, so now I just have to make it all happen.

So at this point Im finding something I like and going to try and establish a career with it. Im a low key person, I tend to sit in the back and do my thing quietly. At work for instance I did all of my best work out of sight of most supervisors. I did this for about 2 years and finally put in my app to become a supervisor.

I had a great letter. Scored very high on a test. And then finally for my interview I was told that I "Came from no where and suprised everyone". And then today the main manager came around to tell me I was the best loader in the entire hub (out of some 200 people or more). Quite a turn around Id say.

So for all those times I wished someone would have seen the work I did, it all was repaid in one simple visit at the perfect time.

However now Ive got a huge target on me and hes going to expect that all the time...
