For the creative supports, they really need some lateral bracing coming off the vertical support from the top and going down to the ground at an angle similar or shallower than the angle thats created by the actual arm that supports it.

So you almost want to continue the supporting arm through the vertical support then into the ground. If that turns got any good speed and G's, I just really cant see those being long term. They could a bit, but because you dont want to use huge fat beams (which would look stupid) you need to anchor them to the ground on the other side of the vertical support that does go into the ground.

Otherwise, looks good.

Wow looks nice, I was going to point out what real said about the track near the body of water, but he beat me to it. Otherwise looks quite nice. One thing maybe to take the light away from the lamps, because during the daytime, it just looks dumb. Possibly releasing a daytime and nightime version with the lamps respectiveley lit?

Less 3D work -- more track work please. 3Ds are extra credit (IMO) and will will not cover up a poorly made ride. ;-)

Brace those turns please (especially that first turn over the water -- no way that will hold) and be sure of smoothing/pumping issues ...

Believe me! it's very smooth.. smoother then any ride i built before.. This ride was for me the change to show my 3ds artistics.. so allot of 3d is used.. but don't worrie! there will be a Light and a Heavy version of the ride.. so all ppl can ride :) with or without the scenery.. because after all it's all about the ride :)
as for the lamps.. still gotta change that [:P] it was the original idea to build only the lamps.. but then i got daydreaming of how it would like at night and stuff.. but the lamps will be just not working lamps in the final version.. and the lamps are hanging now btw :P
as for the supports.. i changed some supports so the main support structure will have less weigth to hold.. (hope you guyz understand that sentence [:p] )
i will place a screenshot of that soon to make it a little clearer..

tnx for the comments :) i'll be working on it :)

Also some new 3ds..
We now have an engine room.. (not to detailed..) and we have a new catwalk.. the wooden one wass'nt strong enough ( ;) )
Again if you want to see all the screenshots you must go to my (http://nldc.interfix.net/u311) No Limits Dev Center Account[/url]

ok, please can I have your computer? [lol] I just watched that video, and even with all those 3D's, the ride was running better than any ride has ever run on my computer, even when it was new.

Seriously though, don't you think there is enough 3D's now? This ride won't be able to run on my computer as it is, so any more 3D's wouldn't affect me, but other could well be affectes ... having said that, not many other people have a computer from last millennium ... literally [lol]

Use this on that turn over the water. I know the poles are large, and they could hold it, but it still seems iffy because the length of the arm is almost longer than the length of the main stay pole.

Ok guys.. i'm going to do something that's new for me..
A PUBLIC BETA test...
Exclusive for the only people who will see this..
This BETA version is not yet 100% complete.. but as nearly done. That's why it's still possible that there some bugs, errors inside (Wrong placed supports or a object that's not correctly placed
I hope to get a good review from this to even make the real version EVEN BETTER!
Hope you like the BETA.. please tell me everything about errors or bugs or anything wrong or what you think should be changed..

as for the name:

Horse Power!
Wild West = Horse
Rocket Coaster = Power
i think for myself it makes sence :P

Now the temporarly Logo:

Image

Now as for the PUBLIC BETA:

We have a heavy and a light version..

The heavy version includes ALL scenery that's been shown on the screens.. (maybe more..) Not recommended for slow PC's
For slow users we got a light version.. with less the scenery.. only the neccesary scenery has been used.. (like water and the floor)

Ok now the downloads!

The Heavy version: (4,19 MB)

http://www.djtommyproductions.nl/Coaste ... _Heavy.zip (Right click - Save as)

And the Light version: (2,19 MB)

http://www.djtommyproductions.nl/Coaste ... _Light.zip (Right click - Save as)

Inside is a readme file about how to install the ride..
EDIT: The name of the rollercoaster in the tracks directory is rocket coaster_0.55.nltrack
All i now got to say.. is have phun!!

Lol, we pretty much knew the coaster by heart before you released this beta version. I feel like I made the coaster, I know so much about the progress!

3 things I would reccomend fixing:

-tunnel testing the small drop after top hat, make sure you have plenty of room for wandering hands of riders
-tunnel testing the camera stand, it seems to be pretty low to the track, and may hit riders hands or even heads.
-banking issues, there are a few high lats close to yellow, which are livable, but a bit unnaccpetable for a IRC.

Done a 99% Tunneltesting... results were all ok :)

-tunnel testing the camera stand, it seems to be pretty low to the track, and may hit riders hands or even heads.

Also here there is no way there gonna reach that camera!

-banking issues, there are a few high lats close to yellow, which are livable, but a bit unnaccpetable for a IRC.

Will be working on that :) can you maybe be specific where the isues were?

EDIT: Worked on it.. the max you will now get lateral is 1.0 good enough for me..
