A second top hat would be impossible to incorperate into one of these coasters, without having a second launch also. You see, how many times does TTD have rollbacks on its top hat? I'm sure it has them quite often, so the problem with a second top hat is what happens if there is a roll back on the second top hat? Answer: you'm love [lol] The ride would valley and then what would happen?

Anyway, as boring as TTD and KK are, I think if you start adding more elements to it, then you end up with very bad ride economy and you'd get like 500 riders an hour or something terrible like that. So as plain and simple as they are, I think that a camelback like on KK, is about the limit for extra elements on this sort of ride.

i think that an inverted top hat would be nice, normal rocket coaster then a twist that ends up upside down then another twist, not much but would be really cool to be upside that high in the air.

Errm, no. Not even close. Gravity, unlike hydraulic launches, is consistent. It's trivial to design a second top hat such that any train that clears the first clears the second.

A little of topic, but when a coaster 'vallys', tires should come up from underneath the track and boost the train where ever it neds to go. but it would only work sometimes. but whatever.

If the train doesn't make the second tower and "valley's", you can always put sort of a maintenense track that wil move you sideways to the end of the ride.

how long do you think it will take before we get a coaster over 500 feet? i think it will be about 1 or 2 years and i also think that there will be an inversion somewhere in strata coasters soon.

P.S.
what do u call a coaster over 50 feet?

I don't soon, all the mayor parks have got a new coaster recently, and a 152m strata will cost a lot (especially with an inversion).

It probably be about 5 years before we see a coaster that high.
And a coaster over 50 feet tall is called, a coaster over 50 feet tall ;)

I would use some real scientific terms, like:
femtocoaster- under 1 ft. tall
picocoaster- under 10 ft. tall
nanocoaster- under 50 ft. tall
teracoaster- over 500 ft. tall
petacoaster- over 1,000 ft. tall!
ionocoaster- any coaster so tall that all riders must first be equipped with space suits and gas masks!

Yea, but i meant like a smaller top hat, like if the first one was 430Ft tall, the other one could be like 300Ft or something like that.....

^^^that would be way to risky, top hats are for controlled speed as someone said i beilve, unless there was a set of really long trims so that u couldnt really feel them to controll the speed entering the second tophay, cause going that fast a small trim would kill when it flies u against the restraint, then it might, but i dont think they will ever do that, just to damn risky

Well...it schould be safe, you can adapt the trims/lim to the weight of the car and its passengers, like on dodonpha, the cars weight is mesured and the launch force will adapt to the weight. And you can also put trims on the horizontal section between the 1st and 2d tophat...
