nobody really uses the search system as i'd see. That really helps clearing out topics like this.

But to answer your question:

There is no date planned yet for release. Release dates always are bad when producing something. If you want to have SM2, have patience and ask again in 2007 [;)]

Mark this on your calander. The release date is.........Just kidding[lol] I don't know either. It is better to have patience than to go crazy. I know they got something good rolled up in their sleaves but we will have to wait untill SM2 is all done[:)]

You will have to wait until Brian gets it done and if that's 2007 then so be it. On another note If I remember correctly Brian said it is about 65% done, have patience good things come to he who waits.

Well he was just only playfully imagining because of what it feels like to him whats taking them so long? Nothing really meaningfull[:)] My gut feeling is it will be out before or after the holidays or it could be out at any given time[:)]

Hey, SM2 coming in 2007 isn't as bad as it sounds. It might have all sorts of great things in there, stretching through all coaster possiblilties and beyond. (simulating a park with some flat rides for example. Simulating a ride should include it's surroundings)

But anyways, if he's 65% done, it might come out in the holidays or maybe sometime next year, either way, we all just gotta wait, and it keeps his imbox from being spammed by n00bs if he goes past that estimated date.

the real question should be when is the last update to NL coming out? It is still the dominant Sim on this site and we know Ole' has new stuff as seen in the Voyage and Golioth on ride movies.

SM2 won't be out by the end of this year. I'm hoping to have it in Alpha testing (maybe even beta testing) by then, but who knows for sure. Unless a MAJOR problem comes up, there's no way it will take until 2007 to get it completed. I'm working as hard as I can without burning myself out too badly so bear with me [:)] Now that my back injury is somewhat better and I can sit for a couple of hours before it starts hurting bad, I'll be able to get back to work finally.

The voyage was from NL with a little fade effects in the movie, but the golioth how you like to say it [;)], was a render from a 3d studio.
