terror alert scale thing

has anyone else noticed that since the election in november, those daily terror alerts (red, orange, red, green, orange, etc) have never come up? what happened to it? is the world suddenly out of terrorists? or was that a scheme for bush to scare you into thinking he's doing a good job and re-elect him. hmmm? what does everyone else think?[:O][8D][?]

Just Bush's plan to think he knows when the terrorist are going to attack. Fact is, they don't and can't tell when they will attack. They may know how, but when, they're clueless. take 911 for example, they had info on possible plane attacks, and what did they do, they just sat on the info and never did anything about it. So this terror alert thing is just utter bull crap to me.

Also who cares about it? I mean, we still have to do the things we have to do and go to the places we have to go no matter what alert level the thing is. I mean are we going to check the terror alert and if it's red, are we going to attack anyone of Afghani descent simply because they are the most suspected type? I mean, if they're gonna do stuff to us, they're gonna get it done no matter what measures we use.

oh i know that- i didnt give a crap about it. but my question here is: where did it go and why did it leave as soon as bush started term 2? hmmm

actually it doesnt bother me that much, i just wanted to post it because its a little bit of anti-bush propeganda (sp?) and the more people know about the schmuck, the less likely we are to elect another republican. [:)] i bet i offended someone with that sentence lol...

Bush is just trying to manipulate our fragile little minds with fear of terror attacks. There isn't really a serious terror threat.

Actually, for me, from my own personal experiences, I am better off with the Democrats in power. Everything is much cheaper when they are in, or at least it has been much cheaper for the time I have been alive. Whenever reps have moved in, everything goes up, it's ridiculous.
