Ive seen it run with winds over 15mph on the ground.

Its up higher where it matters. What matters even MORE is the direction. If the wind is coming from the North, going south, it can be 45 and the train would make it. The wind would help it over.

But if its a southerly wind heading North, it kills the train as it crests.

I hope this isn't another TTD, I'd like it to actually have a layout, that goes into the sea if it has to.

As for speed and height, I tend to enjoy those elements, but I don't want CP to just think that's all the ride needs. A layout would make it alot better this time. (however, I still prefer TTD over MF :)

But IMO, it might be better to make a flyer or floorless or whatever CP doesn't have, rather than doing what seems to be the same thing over and over.

As for launches vs. lifts, I agree with real. Especially for Magnum's lift, it takes forever.

Never thought of that! There must be a max wind speed for wind coming from North and going south, because if it whipped it over, those G's would be killer. BTW I read online somewhere, that TTD is infact 124 MPH and not 120. Just a random fact.

if you ask me, i think cp should ditch disaster transport (crappy short ride with a 2 hour wait), move the big tower thing, and throw in a much needed wooden twister. cp only has 2 wooden rides. blue streak, which is great but short and meanstreak which sucks because of the trims and age. they need a new intamin or gci woodie and they have plenty of space if they get rid of disaster transport. who knows, mabet they can keep some of the buildings to make a new ride go through them or put some flat rides in them? the can do a lot in that area.

well, if they do a launch coaster, it would be better if it was like Xcelerator. And i agree, maybe they should do something that is never done before. Maybe they should do the Inversion record?

Lol, 11 inversions? Riding Alpengeist repetadley gives me a headache. That would have to be one heck of a coaster though.

Well, i've tried to break the inversion record but i can say, if you want to use all different element and not like collosus @ TP does (like 5 barrelrolls), Then it's darn difficult. But i've created an b&m stand up ATM, 10 inversions, All different, loop, dive loop, snakedive, huge cork, mcbr, tiny loop, batwing, airtime hill, barrelcork, and normal cork.
And yes, you'll get very dizzy from this ride!
But even because of the 10 inversions it's builded on a pretty small area [:)]

Just let Collossus keep the inversion record, the five barrel rolls was a cheap way to get all those inversions but from the pov's I've seen very disorienting.

yes, it does look very Disorienting. Maybe they could make a pretzel loop. Like on that was on a coaster in japan. They llok small, and exciting.
Maybe CP should make a 4th dimension coaster? You can have straight track and go up-side-down. I think it would be alot easier that way. Or maybe not break the inversion barrier.

A 4d might work, hopefully.

I do sort of agree that DT and WC should be taken down, they're lame rides, which CP has enough of, lol. Or maybe I enjoy the larger rides too much.

Wildcat is another GREAT ride. Infact, its like #6 or 7 following the greats of MF, Raptor, TTD, Magnum and Blue Streak.

Back on topic, I think that its safe to say that we close this topic, seeing as there is no proof whatsoever.
