I recently started another project, and I really think I'm going to finish this one. Here's a few screenshots.

I wasn't going to post a topic about it until all the trackwork was finished, but I ran into a dilemma; I can't do 3ds at all, and I am planning to make a dual underground tunnel similar to the one on Hades. If I can't find someone that can or is willing to make one for this coaster, then I'm just going to skip the underground tunnel altogether and make the entire coaster above the ground.

Thats the style of tunnel I'd like to have on the ride. I'll do all the in-tunnel supporting after the tunnel is placed so the inside of the tunnel shouldn't be too complicated to model.

I'm offering all my points (currently 2920) to whoever can make me the tunnel, and of course I'll give credit for the work. Since the tunnel will have to be made after all the trackwork is done, I should have a good deal more points by then.

I can't see the screens because photobucket tells me I have to log in to see them.

I would be happy to be a tester for you if you need one.

Those pictures work fine. I'm interested in what happens between the station and the break run. Why is there a little piece of track that slopes down pretty steeply?

There are CCIs that do it also, like Silver Comet for example:

Although Hades has a significantly longer/steeper drop into the station than all of CCIs designs.

EDIT:
About testing, I'll be happy to send the track to anyone who wants to see it when the trackwork is completed.

Mean Streak has a pretty big angled section down but not as steep. Nothing uncommon.

The track before the lift has been banked and sent through the AHG, so it won't be modified at all. I still have to AHG the dipped turn before the speed hill but the banking won't be changed.

90 degree banking? Well, there will be one (possibly two) 90 degree banked turns on the ride but with that turn I was going for something like this:

I would say nothing is wrong with high lats. They make coasters fun. [:)]

And, I didn't realize that all CCI's used that drop off the final breaks.

The turning double up before the station gets up to 2.3 lateral gs for a very brief moment, and the the max lateral gs on the dipped turn is 1.5g. Powerful, but perfectly tolerable.

And ish's recent coaster also had high lats. So there's no big deal here.

I don't know why this slipped my mind, but I just remembered that 3ds tunnels are built above the actual NL terrain, thus meaning I can continue building my track at this point because whether or not I use an underground tunnel, the track will remain the same.
