Attractions Around Cedar Point?

Happy April Fools Day everyone, but anyway does anyone know of any attractions around Cedar Point? I've been trying to suck them into going for the longest time. And my Dad hating rollercoasters (my mom doesn't mind them, I'd probably be able to get her on Wildcat, Iron Dragon, Disaster Transport, Cedar Creek) he'd need something else to with my mom, something fun for them, like a beach, classy resteraunts or something that would get the attention of a 37 year old woman and 42 year old man. If anyone that lives in Ohio or just knows of other attractions I would be much satisfied thanks.

If you go to Google Maps and use Sandusky Oh you can see the Cedar Point peninsula and the islands that are there plus some of the state parks and ferry routes.
