I have finally begun to work on my Adrenaline Land project. For those of you who are new, Adrenaline Land is my vision for the ideal amusement park. The prices are low, the coasters are numerous, the park is classic, and all of the big coasters are terrained.

The first coaster I have decided to do serious work on is the giga-coaster of the park, a 325 ft terrained giant called "Hydro Thunder". It has insane airtime and helicies like SROS, terrained goodness like The Raven, and some truly wicked drops. Actions speak louder than words, so I will cut to the chase. Who would like to test? leave your e-mail address and I will send the completed trackwork to you.

The Specs:
The first drop is about 250 ft at an 80 degree angle. Then, there is a great airtime hill over the terrain, with 3 seconds of complete weightlessness. Following a ground turn through a trench, the coaster comes back up 260 ft, and drops off the hillside and over the river. This hill is absolutely wicked, dropping 260 ft and generating 4 seconds of airtime. Then, there is a double-up, a diving overbanked turn back down to the river, and 2 great camelbacks before the MCBR. Following the MCBR, the train kicks into overdrive. The finale is an intense 3.5 g double helix, 5 airtime hills, and some intense turns that scrape the terrain.

The whole ride is smooth as glass, pump free, and has sick speed throughout. Trackwork is complete, and terrain is through its basic phases. Again, anyone who wants to test ride just leave your email address and I will send it to you.

Well, it has been a very long time since I have talked about any coaster projects of mine, so here is the breakdown:

1. The Rockler 2, Cheetaking, Volare, Cedar Point Project, and RCT version of Adrenaline Land are on hold. (My laptop still isn't fixed, and the files are all on it.)
2. I don't even know if I will get these files back. If my hard drive is fried, they are gone for good. If it is the motherboard that is fried, I will resume work as soon as my laptop is back.
3. I will be working on coaster projects all summer, so you will see some great stuff coming from me in the next few months.
4. I figured out how to create perfectly smooth coasters without using Elementary. The double helix on Hydro Thunder is naturally circular and pump-free. I am still an advocate for building coasters with nothing but a mouse and control points. I don't even use the NL Track Smoother anymore... it actually made the coasters worse.

Well, all test riders are welcome for Hydro Thunder. Leave me your e-mail address, and let me know what you think.

Good news, everyone. I finally got my laptop back. I finally am not restricted to the limitations of my school's computer lab anymore. The bad news: none of my files survived. My Hyper X coaster project has officially been cancelled, as well as my Cedar Point RCT2 project. Progress on The Rockler 2 has been pushed back by about a month. Luckilly, I backed up all of my other coaster files to flash drive, so very little was lost. (Except the South Park episodes that I spent half of my college life downloading from Kazaa.)

I'M BACK!!! Now I can go back to my 24/7 schedule and do some serious catching up on the Medal Counts.
