Intamin fan has just said my thoughts exactly. It is there own fault, so why should the rules be changed so they can upload another track? Contests are too make the best ride you can to beat the opposition, not to make a track that will just win.

I posted the topic about the potential change in rules on Sunday, so its not like you all weren't warned. Your odds of getting to the next round are still the same, actually. Both systems would have generated a 16-person bracket for round 2. There will be no second submissions. You were given fair warning, and I can't allow 2 submissions just for 2 or 3 people that weren't paying attention. It would not be fair for the other competitiors.

Can someone else construct our tunnels for us? I would if I could, but I am on a mac, and I have no ability to use tools to make them. They will be very basic, and with out them, I doubt that I will be able to compete.

Dude, if you think some stupid 3ds tunnel is going to be the determining factor in wether or not you advance, you're well, frankly an idiot.

Just let the track run through the ground, and I will know what you were going for. 3ds scores a small bonus, but the adrenaline and technical scores will be completely the same as a coaster that uses a 3ds tunnel.

Ok CJD, that is the only reason why I wanted 3ds in the first place, I thought it would be deducted anyway. Still... Can someone else make my tunnels? You never answered that...

As long as you give the member credit for the 3ds work, sure. No sharing the trackwork, though. Just 3ds for those with Macs.

Hey cjd, is it okay if we change the terrain texture?

Nope. Changing the texture counts as modifying it.

to answer krazyt's question, to flange something is to add a "bump" or thicker node to it. in nl, it usual refers to the supports, like this example from Real's Rouge Wave:

speaking of supports, I just finished mine, so I'm getting closer to being finished!

Flanges are the parts of the supports that are used to connect them in real life. They are used in NL for realism.

I still don't understand what you mean by "change the name of the terrain"... If you mean renaming the ground texture file, then yes.

I'll say it again, you now have an even better chance, statistically, of moving into the round of 16, because in going up against 2 other people, you would've had a 33% chance, and now you have a 36% chance of advancing. It'll actually be much better than that, because surely not everyone will submit a track.
