The hardest part of creating a coaster video has came around for me once again...the music. I'm looking for some good pop=punk (Blink 182 etc) music that would go well with a coaster video. So i extend my reach out to you guys to see if you can name any good songs...

F**king Determined by Mudvayne! (metal)
or something from the offspring. Maybe some old Greenday(anything of thiers before Warning)
Or get that new Sum 41 cd, and get a song from there. I don't know the name of the songs, but I've heard the cd, and its really, really good. So, they get my next thumbs up if you don't want to go with Mudvayne.
no blink 182, though, you used them the last time you went to Alton Towers.

Here's a list of my 4 favorite "coaster songs" that Robb Alvey used in his coaster footage videos. They work extremely well for coaster videos.

It's My Life (Bon Jovi)
All The Small Things (Blink 182)
Bring It All Back (S Club 7)
Stronger (Britney Spears)

Not exactly a pop/punk song, but I've always thought that Queens of the Stone Age's "Go with the Flow" would be a good coaster video song.

well i think any song can be great with rides you just have to sync the music so it plays at the right time.

love pop punk, go with death metal!

J/K, even though I love death metal, it wouldn't go well with a coaster video of course.

I would say go with some power metal though. Symphony X has a song called "Inferno (Unleash The Fire)" that you can download at http://www.symphonyx.com/ , and I think it would be great for a coaster video.

[lol] I like the death metal suggestion myself hehe.

But, yeah, death metal doesn't go well at all with coaster vids, believe me I have tried [lol]. I find Hoobastank goes well with coaster videos, particularly 'crawling in the dark', its a gay song by a gay band but it works well with coaster videos I feel. Well that my suggestion anyway.

Im thinking of making one or two videos with different music styles

I have created a video set to Enter Sandman - Metallica, which works well. But since not everyone likes metal i might make a chillout video aswell

What about Clocks by Coldplay for the chillout one, but that would be hard to make go with the rides, sooooooo:
Still waiting (not sure if this is the name) - SUM 41
MMMBOP - Hanson (Rockkkk on!!!!!!!!! [lol])
Why you wanna trip on me - Michael Jackson, although that might not go down too well at the moment. Or thriller would be good.
All I want - The offspring (but this is a very very short song)
Want you bad - The offspring
Queen - Dont stop me now (which is also featured on the Rita soundtrack)

Just some (crap) Suggestions, lol.
