dude, rct3 is still pretty new, first an admin or mod needs to have rct3. Next to that people need to join it. If only one person joins then it doesn't really make sense to have a contest.
And also the site isn't just only for nolimits. No limits is just a very populair simulation. That y the tons of track uploads and that's y there are more contests for it [:)]

well, I do have RCT3 now, but I really don't think there are enough scenery objects to host a proper contest yet.

This site consists of mainly NoLimits and Scream Machines users. If you think it's unfair that theres a lack of other games/simulations, then go to another site.

Yeah right. There would be few users who sign up and even less who submit tracks.

hey coasterkrazy, intaminfan is right:
for example on an rct3 contest.
About 5-10 people join it..
and then with luck 1 or 2 people actually finish, That is just no fun. You don't really battle against someone if you submit on your own. I've have the same on scream machines, it's way more if you're exited and then hope you've been ranked in a nice high spot. [:)]
Also, like we said above, rct3 doesn't really has enough scenery to make a good contest. The interest in rct3 is allready low, and even LOWER in HR. From the users i've seen here on wws, about 1 or 2 users who actually upload a HR ride. So with a contest, both might join but who says that they actually finish?

You can try other sites that are more into rct3 and HR. For rct3 wouldn't be so hard to find one but i guess that HR is a little more difficult...

Yea, I mean you hardly ever see a SM contest going on, yet SM is more popular than RCT3 ATM.

What you've gotta remember is that as "easy" as it is to hold a contest, it's not just over when you finish your ride/park and submit it. The mod holding the contest then has to go through whatever he recieves and judge it, before marking it subjectively and giving out results, and of course before this, the rules have to be created and posted, and constantly checked to ensure that no new questions have been asked by people who want to know things about the contest etc.

Basically, its not easy holding a contest at all, so stop complaining about it. Let the admin make their own decision about it, if they feel its worth it, tey'll do it.

I don't think there really should be any RCT3 contest.I mean it's hard to make good scenery and the lack of coaster pieces make it hard to build a good smooth roller coasters. That's my opinion.Anyway aren't there like 5 topics about RCT3 contest anyway?Do we need any more?

Well, you can't control the smoothness of coasters with the RCT series. And scenery would be all the contest would really be judging on, since thats what makes the ride or park.

I like many people would really want a RCT3 contest but, as many of you have said there is not enough themeing to make it exciting enough. Lets just hope Soaked can solve alot of the problems (waterfalls, tunneling, MORE THEMEING) that to be fair should have been in the game anyway. If soaked lives upto the expectation, then I can see a competition being announced. Until then we will all have to be a little patient
