have you decided which track stile you'll use?
I mean do you have no idea what you will go for?

what about a b&m hypercoaster. There arn't much of those. You just gave me a themed B&m hypercoaster idea. Contact me on msn and i'll show some stuff of it.. [;)]

for n egypt style I would build an b&m coaster...maybe a floorless or like dirk said a hypercoaster.
and think of something new for the layout, not the normal layout of a b&m looper.

Hyyyper, what about thinking of making a team coaster. That we both work on it. I'd do some 3ds work. And you can do some layout work. If you want i can do some smoothing, you can do them some support work. Think about it. I guess it would be a fun idea [:)] We also could add some nice terrain [:)]

Sounds interesting, but i preffer to make everything with supports like on biohazard, so that people dont have to download extra stuff, and ish, dirk just makes layouts not ideas.
Well, i was thinking of something big that is very original say kingda ka with a cobraroll as tophat and that it goes towards an outandback hypercoaster style....

if you want to make an kingda ka strata out'n back i can say, it won't fit on many parks then... I'd more prefer then a small but fun ride [:)] Or something like silverstar, half the size of kk and still extremely fun [:)]

do you really think silver star is a fun ride?
I think it's a bit boring...nothing special.
only fast and big.

Heres some good tips for gathering ideas and getting a coaster going:

Set goals:

1. Pick a track style or a novel idea, OR, recreate a style, not just a track
2. Using supports, make boundaries. Dont make it easy and dont make it something you normally do, or, dont make it to be easy with a certain style. Make it hard, push yourself to the edges a bit.
3. Maybe put up some random terrain. Id say something gentle or sloping. Dont start off with jagged terrain, you can alter it later.
4. Possibly give yourself a deadline on each part of the ride. Make it realistic, but challenging.

In essense, what I try to do with my rides is take one central idea, then branch out and push the limits in every area. By making boundaries, setting goals and trying to meet them, youll actually generate MORE ideas than sitting around brainstorming. The idea is to stimulate the mind.

Trust me, Im in the SAME rut.

Well, i've dediced, it'll be a floorless with a shitload of inversions
wich two dont exist
but, how do you call an element that starts with a halfZeroG upwards, then a downwards corckscrew, an corck upwards in the direction u r coming from and then a half zeroG down.
basicly its a cobra roll, but instead of the halfloops i placed ZeroG's, does anybody have a good name for that element, i called it a twistback...

not really
i'm now done with the track, there still are some yellow G's and shocky transitions, so . . . any voulonteers?
it now has the following track
u down down about 3-4 feet, then you go to the interlocking corcks, then turn 180deg, and hit a mcbr, after that the launch, a horshoe, a loop, a diveloop, a cobra, an incline diveloop, mcbr, barrelrol, double ZeroG, twistback, bunnyhop, helix, barrel roll, mcbr, transport, mcbr and back into the station
