My nieghbor has a PC that I can use pretty often, so I want to know if I can use the tools in Tia's construction kit (such as the auto-flanger) on my friend's PC without actually owning a copy of No Limits on my friend's PC. I own NL on my mac, but I want to take advantage of the tools, and I would not like to buy a license for NL for PC. I really need a quick answer, Thanks!

Here's an idea -- try it first and see what happens. Geesh ...

Or you could just answer the guy...

Short and simple answer, no.
But you can use the other standalone tools without having a copy of NL on your nieghbors computer.

No FN, I couldn't. But then again, he was asking all of us to tell him if there was a way to get around the system, wasn't he? Hmmmmm, not sure I want to help someone cheat NL -- eh?

Eh? How is he asking anyone to help him around the 'system'? He can't use any of the tools on his computer and all he will be doing is taking his trackfile with him over to his nieghbors and using the tools on a computer with Windows.

Exactly what FN said, I am not trying to rip off the NL team, but no sense buying a copy and bugging my dad to buy a PC version that I will use for only tools. All I really want is to auto-flange the supports...

Also, which tools are standalone tools?

Give me a minute and I will upload all the tools to Rapidshare for you to download. Coastercandy isn't really that reliable these days...

You are da bomb FN..... what is rapidshare? A P2P network app like Limewire? Or a website? Also, what are standalone tools? Thanks again [:)]

Alright here you go, http://rapidshare.de/files/1449877/Stan ... s.zip.html

Click that link and download the file. Inside the Zip file (password is coastercrazy.com) you will find the node smoother, support cleaner (used mainly on woodie support structures), autoflanger, coaster calculator and the segment combiner.
The segment combiner won't really be of any use to you unless you plan ahead and know exactly what you want combined and stuff....yeah I really don't feel like typing out a lengthy explanation [lol]

Make sure you download the file correctly the first time though because that site will only let you download once per hour. Sometimes you can get away with downloading things more than once per hour, but they are usually very strict and block your ip for an hour.

Note: Thanks to Buster for the tools and Gravimetric Studios for the calculator ;)

Oh, after you click the link scroll down and look for the 'Free' button and it will bring you to a different page and then scroll down to the very bottom and there will be a timer counting down from 30 or some number. Once it reaches zero the download link will appear.

Yeah, all they need to work is themselves (of course ahah) and the trackfile.
