mines in, I meant send in one more draft if I feel like it. But expect that to be the final draft.
So this round was a wooden coasters. I'm betting next round will be a rocket coaster! Making it the first rocket coaster we've had in a competition. What do you guys think?

In that case it will propably be something like Rita or Kanonen. Something like Kingda Ka is propably too simple for a contest. But Rita or Kanonen would be realy cool. "place a coaster over a building and a river in a park with no-space left." [;)]

I think it will be ShreiKra too. It would allow us to be really really original. And i love dive machines (well i love Oblivion) so i hope we do ShreiKra. And then in the final it should be doing rocket coasters.

Well, perhaps this should go in the Hard Hat area, but I thought you guys might like to see this: http://nldc.interfix.net/p514

Anyway, I'm going to be doing some extensive support work after the competition, so I won't be uploading, but anybody who'd like to see the track before it's uploaded to the exchange can PM me, and I'll send it to them beginning on Thursday. Still have to fix up the supports, but the track is 99% finished.

Your inbox for PM's is going to be overflowing McFly. lol I think shiekra would be an interesting concept for the contest although I do like the idea of doing a ride based on Kanonen or Rita better. Who knows.

im crossing fingers for a rocket, then in final have a invert. that be sweet, and make a min track length of like 3500 feet and max height restriction of 150, minimum height 130. and atleast 6 inversions.

I'm hoping next round is a rocket, because if I make it into the next round, I probably won't pass into the final, because I don't have the access to a credit card to spend some money out on the auto-depumper/smoother, which I'm sure could help improve my design.

I can't upload my track! It says it has been uploaded but I do not see it in the exchange.
Anyway, for those who care, here is the story. Just in case you're interested.

My story begins about twenty years ago when the construction of this coaster began. Construction started out nicely but one day a strange fog fell upon the coaster and construction slowed to a crawl but the workers continued as they needed to make the deadline. But on that miserable day five workers mysteriously fell to their death. They were all tied to the structure of the coaster but their harnesses became loose and they just slid out. Their bodies were never found but there harnesses were found dangling from the 50m tall structure. Construction on the coaster continued to please the public. When construction was finally finished in May of 1986 riders were very pleased with the air-time and laterals this behemoth produced. But after a few hours of riding people began to hear wispering at the top of the lift. The wispering gradually got louder and louder until it was a deafening scream. A scream that could be heard over the feroucious roar of the roller coaster. Many thought that the spirits of those construction workers were restless and the noise of the roller coaster was disturbing their peace. The ride hasn't been ridden since. Until you strapped the seatbelt and lap-bar on and went up that lift hill. Are you prepared for what may await you at the top of the lift?

C'mon you guys. If I don't get some help I am going to be extremely pissed off. My e-mail is not working at the moment for no apparent reason and I don't understand why I can't upload my coaster here.

I dont know what to tell you IronMan, maybe try renaming the track or maybe your Title lenght is too long, or perhaps an invalid file? some suggestions but im not too sure

Yeah, its probably because the title is too long. I remember someone else having the same problem, so they shortened the title and it worked.

Iron man, your track was fun, i just rode it, although i wont rate it because i am also in the comp. I really liked the ride, although i wouldnt like to see them trains try and go round some of them turns. Still very fun though. [:D] Well done man.

My ride is going up tonight. I dont have anywhere to upload a version without 3ds though. I am uploading the 3ds version here, and then wanted to link to another place fr low band users. Anyway im just making a screenshot for it at the moment.

The ride is online http://www.coastercrazy.com/track_exchang ... p?tid=7393

There ya go CJD

BTW i think i have lost to MF2001 [V] But who cares, i have experienced alot of fun (and bad language, and nearly breaking my toe when kicking the desk! [lol]) while building this thing. I did not get chance to do some of the things Intamin Fan and matt said when they tested, but i ried to sort some of it.

Thanks once again to them for testing. [:D]

NOTE: You need the track packager to run this ride [:)]

Thanks you guys. This one is definately better than my last upload. I just rushed that one so much. Although I did overlook one thing but won't tell you what just in case you don't notice. [;)]

Sorry, Iron Man, I notice just about everything. Contest requirements are a pain in the butt, aren't they? [;)] Too bad you didn't catch the error before you uploaded.

so if coaster's group does not upload anything, and you have a tie, then would that tied group go on to the next round?
