I just want to say i think Tyler's rate for my coaster Termites is a little un-fair. http://www.coastercrazy.com/track_exchang ... p?tid=7410

1) Steep drops on woodies really doesn't matter. And if I had a steep drop, the wheel structure on the train would probably cause it to de-rail.

2) Where did 8 drops come from? There's 13! He might be exaggerating, but still, my drops don't need to be steep.

3) The speed has around a 63 k/p average, and i think that's a well kept speed for a ride with a max speed of 90 k/p!

4) What happened to the other aspects of the ride? The airtime, lat's, added scenery and all the effort i put into re-doing all the lattice supports (except on the lift hill).

I don't like to complain most of the time, but a 5.67 really isn't a rating that fits my track.

To me the adreline and creativity of the ride are far and away the most improtant aspects of a ride, and this thing just plain does not deliver the goods. In any case, it's a slightly-above-average score for a slightly-above average coaster. It's not a bad ride, not at all, but hardly great, innovate, or overly exciting either. There's really nothing to distinguish it from quite a few other woodies on this site, and I rated it accordingly.

Wrong.

Theres NOTHING that prevents wooden coasters from executing steep drops. The wheel structures on wood trains are build just as well as steels'.

And I don't see why your complaining just because you got a low rate. Tyler's comments were very valuable and provided many ways to improve the ride, where the other rates don't.

The numbers were perhaps a tad low, but the rate was explained thoroughly. The rating stays.
