This is my current project, hopefully going to be uploaded later today. Trackwork is done, supports are somewhat done, a lot of what's there are just temporary place holders.

Basic Stats:

Track Style: OD Hopkins Looper (Using Schwarzkopf in sim)
Height: 118ft
Length: 3189ft
Inversions: 3 x Vertical Loop
Max Banking: 94 degrees
G-Forces: Vertical -- +4.0 to -1.2, Lateral -- Less than 1g throughout
Top Speed: 56mph
Speed at End: 40mph

Needless to say, this thing just hauls ass. It's not super long, but it's a good fun layout with lots of intensity and variety. Here are a few pics

How quickly do you build rides, you uploaded your last one, what like 5 seconds ago? [lol] You build 'em fast thats for sure.

That double helix after the first loop looks imense! Nice [;)]

Has anyone ridden a Hopkins looper here? This looks great, but, I mean Hopkins have probably the worst engineering of any type of coaster.

Looking nice.

Yeah, IMO, they look really dodgy. I don't know if I would trust them..[lol]

Just look at this - http://rcdb.com/ig254.htm?picture=4
I could just picture one of the designers saying "Oops, it looks like we got that angle wrong."

And the Red Devil looks just as bad, but its not operating anymore...which is probably a good thing [lol]

LOL! Yea I certainly wouldn't ride one of those coasters IRL. Anyway Tyler, looks quite interesting - nice to see a coaster style practically never used to be used.

All of your tracks actually are awsome technically - but the supports kind of lack IMO. They are just quicky type ones - your tracks would hold alot more potential if you dedicated more time to the supports IMO.

Uh, what exactly is wrong with them? My supports look just like the real thing...

Heh, you people must have never ridden a Hopkins to say such ignorant and idiotic comments like that. Desert Storm is a great ride.

Just because Hopkins aren't great technically, it doesn't mean they're rides are bad. Well maybe for you if your too much of a pussy to handle a ride without heartlining or isn't as smooth is a love B&M.

And saying you wouldn't trust them? You shouldn't go to amusement parks anymore. They can be trusted just as much as any new attraction. Can you really be that stupid to say such a thing?
