I do beleive I have swept the NL medals for the week. My rides are 2nd, 3rd, and 4th top rated NL coasters this week (well, last week that just ended) and the top scoring ride is a contest ride, and thus ineligiable.

Looks to me like:

Gold - Vapor Trails (8.44)
Silver - Cygnus X-1 (8.39)
Bronze - Red Barchetta (7.99)

I guess someone likes what I'm doing...

This has been officially verified. Tyler becomes the first designer in WWS.com history to sweep the NoLimits weekly medals.

I ought to get a triple platinum or something for this ;)

Also, all 3 rides WERE completed during the week. You can look at the hard hat area posts. Those were made in real time. Yes, I really can work that fast.

I'd focus on trying to get the coveted platinum medal from the match-up contest if I were you, Tyler.

I've got plenty of time for both. I think I'll do another ride tomorrow. Someone call a track style, and I'll post it tomorrow. This should be fun...

I think that the power to use tools to create a smooth track and supports would allow you to do that - after learning the procedure it can't be that hard ... or so me thinks [;)]. Good job anyway..... make an IRC.

He did and does -- but since people rate down or up for a variety of different reasons, it is really hard to actually make that a reality.

I could do that easy [:)] give me a computer that runs at a half way decent speed and I'll fill the top 5 rated coasters for the week for you [;)] $20 says I can.

Not that I'm bragging about my own skill or anything, but if anyone remembers me from ages ago, when I built a ride every day and uploaded it, I can still do that now and do, only I don't upload them because I know they are all technically crap because of my computer ..... at least thats my excuse [lol]

Still though, well done Tyler for being the first one with both the skill and the speed to have done this.

I thought your parents were getting you a Dell? YOu should like not stop asking until you get one. Just tell them how much your computer sux, and how you can't do anything, because its so crappy. [lol]

My computer runs fine usually with around 40-50 fps on a decent track, but with max'd settings on any coaster I get a maximum of like 2 O_o. I am upgrading my computer - why don't you Gouldy? Is it that old? Pentium 3? Processor? Memory? Some can be upgraded, and I believe NL heavily relies on Graphics cards, memory and some ram. All are upgradeable (not 100% sure about ram). That is unless you computer is ancient and can't be upgraded.

Yeah, like the 1996 computer I played RCT1 on... I think a dorito would be a better chip than what's in that thing. (sorry, bad joke...}

That's too easy, one noob rate and it keeps a 10.
The rating should keep at all times scoring above 9, but that isn't all:
- No 3ds
- no trees
- no theming
- no terrain
- no custom skybox

Tyler if you can do that, i'd personally give you 2500 points [;)]

hmmm, having thought about it again, its not like there was a lot of competition last week now is it. Everyone was building their competition tracks and to be fair all 3 of Tyler's tracks were pretty low scoring considering that they all got medals, heck his bronze medal track wasn't even an 8! I remember getting a bronze medal for an 8.9! ("Vertical Limit") I think the competition I had in that week for the medal places was ever so slightly better perhaps don't yoy think?

Yes Captain Obvious -- thanks for pointing that out. Please try not to start a fight, eh? [lol]

[lol] I wasn't trying to start a fight, just bring him back down to earth a bit perhaps. I already congratulated Tyler in my first post, now I thought it was time to deflate his head abit [;)]

I could probably win all 3 medals fairly easily if I uploaded Volare, The Rockler 2, and Hydro Thunder all in the same week; but I'd rather have 3 golds than a medal sweep. For me, it's quality, not quantity.

I agree, but its a fairly cool thing to be able to say "I won all three medals in the same week" isn't it? Tyler is the only one that can say that, I guess if I had a decent computer I might have got there first but who cares? I don't, does it matter? No [:)]. I have got loads of rides that have never been uploaded on here though, you can upload 14 rides in a week maximum right? Well, I have way more than that, that I have never uploaded, if I just uploaded the best ones in a week where there was a competition going on, I'd completely wipe the boards [lol] as would most people I'm sure. But Tyler built all 3 of his rides in the same week, I could build 7 in a week, one for each day and get the top 5 rated coasters for the week [:)] infact I am going to try and do that in the summer when I have my new computer, no .... "IF" I have my new computer [lol]

Go ahead!... and i'ts time to duel: Gouldy vs Tyler [lol] [lol] [lol] [lol] [lol] [lol] i think it would be quite interesting to see about 20 tracks from each one in the same week
