I'd rather ride through a bunny hop than a straight section [;)]

Tyler - height will be interpreted as the distance from the track's highest point to the ground directly beneath it.

coaster992001 - try to keep lateral g's as low as possible. I would reccomend trying to keep them under 1. (1.2 is pushing it...)

1??????? Thats kinda pushing it. Its really really hard to keep the Gs down because of the speeds and everything.

Hmm, I've finally started making my track, but it's not fun. The template really is forgiving, and it's much easier to fit the track in this round compared to last, but the 4000 ft. length limit is going to be tough, though it is nice to know I don't have to make and smooth 6000+ ft. of track this time. But why does everything always have to be so huge?

Just read everything it says on that page and it should tell you everything you'll need to know and how to use it.

hey cjd, not that i'm in the contest but do you measure a 8seater or the floorless car as a measure for tunneltesting?

I hope he doesn't do 8 seater. Since NL doesn't have dive machine cars, that would be completely unfair.

I will be linent on the tunnel test because there is no dive machnie car on NL. Just make sure that NOTHING passes through the sides of the tunnels.

i've finally gotten started and so far so good. i was currently introduced to reading Harry Potter and it gave me an idea of a Harry Potter themed ride, but I wasn't going to take any chances on copyright laws, so it's going to be castle themed, most definetly. i was upset, cause i just read the rule that it had to be under 4,000 feet, so i had to cut back on the plans i had going on in my head. any way, it will take me still a long time to do this, and i'm still not feeling good (no vomitting, but generly high fever) and i can live with being cold for a few days.

strangely though, my illness may relate to food poisoning in a way, everytime i see lamb (i was at an indian palace) i vomit or gag, and same with other meat products, so i'm completely vegan for a while! hope that passes over soon. good luck the rest of you![dorkhat]

I have a question regarding the terrain.

The rule states that terrain can differe by 20ft in both directions...
I have this setup: The general terrain outside of the template is set to 5m. The highest terrain point is at 11m and the lowest at -1. That makes 5?????????6m... Is this allowed?

Buster.

well...there's been a change in plans for my ride. it is going to be inside of a building with some outside elements too. so far...i've only completed the first drop...lol!

even more changes, i can't decide. i'm trying to stick to being as original as possible, and not a completely out-of-this world design. i hope i have time to build the stupid building for my ride, and then off to the tunnel maker.

I'm sorry, I really have no time to do this. I've gotten a lot worse (sickness wise) and I'm probably going to sleep the rest of the day. I'm overloaded with homework, and now the vomitting is non-stop. I haven't even finished my track, let alone fix it up. Supports will take me a while, and I really have no time inbetween studying for the 4 tests I have to make up when I get back (biology, calculus, european history, and economics) and i probably won't get back any time soon, and then exams...i could go on but I'm feeling faint...so let's cut to the chase:

I'm going to have to drop out of this contest. I really do not have the strength or time to continue working on the computer for the next few weeks or the next round if I were to make it. Sorry Ish! I can't wait to see your rides![dorkhat]
