Geez...another Rush coaster. Oh well, at least your coasters aren't as boring as Rush. [:P] J/K Tyler, I know how much you like them. Why not call the next one Witch Hunt? That's prolly my favorite song from them.

Well, I doubt anyone else is gonna work in 3 vertical drops, much less consecutive drops...

Just over 2000ft, but there's more I haven't shown yet, and may not.

Just finished trackwork. (And no, I'm not posting any more pics until I post the ride). 3902ft long, 3 vertical drops, 5 inversions, forces of up to 5g.

Well, I said I wouldn't post any pics, but you know me ;)

Note: The supports shown are very much not final, just some very quick placeholders I dropped in give a sense of scale.

Image

Inverting 240ft in the air before diving vertical? Sure! Why not? I call it a vertical dive roll.

Image

Immelman and double zero-g roll. Major fun.

Image

Yea, it's heartlined, and it really is a parabolic air hill shape, even if it doesn't look it.

Image

The rides' finale, the blackout helix, this insane helix drops 143ft, while generating forces of up to 5.0g, the highest on the ride.

Image

The train exits that helix at 77 mph, so I put in a short magnetic brake (simulated with a LIM transport segment) in to smoothly scrub some speed. The train then flies around the last curve at approximatly 50mph onto the brakes proper.

View from the south end of the layout.

From the north...

YYZ. One of my favs from Rush. I only know a handful of drummers who can play it somewhat like Peart and still they aren't as good. Rush really did a good job of scouting for a drummer.
That roll into the first drop looks a lot like something I was imagining for this. I may post what I would've had if I ever feel like finishing it. Good luck on this round Tyler!

YYZ = Toronto Pearson International Airport

Rush ripped off an airport code for a song title. Unoriginal idiots.

[lol]

Tyler. You are an idiot.

I wasn't being serious.

You really need to lighten up.

yes, there drummer is absolutly amazing! I can play Tom Sawyer perfectly not ot be bragging or anything, it was so complex that i didnt get it down for about 3-4 months or practicing everyday, but i can play it perfectly, and the part has it dow written as a double bass roll but i decided to it on a single pedal [flush]

Neil Peart is a great drummer, but I still can't stand Rush.
